Ambient Weather WS-2000 Smart Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts & Thermo Hygrometer
During the 12 days of Christmas saw the ws-2000 at a fantastic price, and since you couldn't save the items for furture purchases had to grab it then, if I had know the ws-5000 was going to be offered at a great price I may had waited and purchased it instead.

I love this weather station! I was pretty sure that the official rainfall totals that I was getting from our local airport were lower than what I was getting, and that turned out to be right. Also, the integration with all of the different weather networks is impressive. My sprinkler controls will link to Personal Weather Station member stations, and the WS-2000 even had an integration link to resend data to that one, as well as AmbientWeather.net and the Weather Underground network. I like that it connects and shares data all over the place, plus has a whole array of expansion sensors.

I really like your products and because of the technical nature of them it may be sometimes hard to explain how they work (or don’t work) with each other. It would be nice if in the description you would include to potential uses for the accessories and the products they will work with as well as the ones that they won’t work with.

Ambient Weather WS-2000 Smart Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts & Thermo Hygrometer
My husband hasn’t set it up yet (it was a Christmas gift for him), so take this review with a grain of salt, but I was really happy with this purchase. I really liked what the weather station included. The price, packaging, and shipping were also superb. My only complaint was that when I bought it I didn’t think that I would also need to buy the pole, and the pole’s not cheap.

Ambient Weather WS-2000 Smart Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts & Thermo Hygrometer
I really like the quality and flexibility of this weather station. Also, it was very easy to connect to my new wi fi. I have one of the new mesh wi fi systems from Xfinity (XB7) that automatically chooses 2.4 or 5.0 frequency, and it hooked up to the 2.4 frequency with no problem. My previous weather station was not Ambient Weather and would not connect to my new wi fi.
I really like the screen resolution on the display, and like the large network of other Ambient Weather station users that are reporting their readings to the Ambient Weather app.

Ambient Weather WS-2700 Advanced Wireless Weather Station
Functions as advertised, with many helpful features. Previously purchased this style of device from this manufacturer many years ago and have had no problems and it is still accurate. Purchased this latest model as a gift.

Great potential, but difficult to set up and install with a camera. Probably my fault. I should of purchased a more basic system.

Currently cold and wintry in Ohio. When we had a rare thunderstorm about a week ago it picked up a lightning strike. Impressive.

Ambient Weather WS-5000 Ultrasonic Professional Smart Weather Station & Thermo Hygrometer
I had a Davis and it was not reading right anymore. I purchased WS-5000 and must say this is second to none in my opinion. Accuracy is right on and the display is better than I expected.

Ambient Weather WS-5000 Ultrasonic Professional Smart Weather Station & Thermo Hygrometer
The weather station kit installed fairly easily after watching the YouTube video. Each sensor connected immediately to the display. The display unit feels cheap because the buttons are hard to push and causes the whole unit to slide backward if I don't hold it. I expected softer push buttons for a small display.
It is tedious to use the onscreen keyboard to complete the configuration, but once it is complete, I don't expect I will need to use it again.
I will be looking for a battery backup for the display unit in the case we loose power and portability.
This is our first weather station and excited to use it for SKYWARN weather spotting.

Ambient Weather WS-5000 Ultrasonic Professional Smart Weather Station & Thermo Hygrometer
Overall this is a great weather station. Installing was a breeze. All readings appear to be more accurate than my old one was, in particular wind speeds. Only disappointment was finding out after the fact that in order to get accurate wind speeds with snow I needed to buy a supplemental heater.
However, the manual that comes with it, although really complete and comprehensive, isn't really great to get you started. Information needed to calibrate the sensors, connect to the internet, and online weather networks was scattered all through it. It would be great in they'd do a "Quick Start Guide" with step by step instructions on how to get it set up, and not have to look through the entire manual to find the info.
