Ambient Weather WS-5000 Ultrasonic Professional Smart Weather Station & Thermo Hygrometer
I bought the Ambient Weather WS-5000 as an alternate to more expansive unit from another well know vender that I’ve worked with in the past. For me, the WS-5000 is a great value given its sensors monitor all the weather parameters I’m looking for, is well built and is reasonably priced.

So far I've never had a problem with any Ambient product. Keep up the good work.

Ambient Weather WS-5000-RAINSPIKE Bird Spike Kit for WS-5000 Rain Gauge
They worked well for my rain gauge but birds still light on my unit between the wind speed cups and the wind arrow. They then poop on the light catching parts of the unit.

Ambient Weather WS-5000-RAINSPIKE Bird Spike Kit for WS-5000 Rain Gauge
So far so GOOD. No bird poo in the rain gauge after installing them. I did notice that some of the spikes had been moved but today I used Loctite Gel Glue to glue them into place so they (the birds) would not be able to move them. The only thing that I think might help more would be a wire mess either over the entire top of the gauge or inside of it. But so far so good.
Thanks

Ambient Weather WS-2902-FUNNEL Replacement Rain Gauge Funnel, WS-1550-IP, WS-1900, WS-2000, WS-2902 and WS-2902A Wireless Wea
Easy replacement for my lost funnel in the rain gauge. Noticed my weather station was no longer recording rainfall and found the funnel was gone (must have blown out with the wind). Ordered and had a replacement installed in just a couple of days!

Ambient Weather WS-5000 Ultrasonic Professional Smart Weather Station & Thermo Hygrometer
I was favorably impressed. This WS-5000 is comparable to my Davis Vantage Pro II. The apps are better than what Davis provides as the console. And (most importantly) it has proved as accurate as the Davis station, and (with calibration) the CoCoRHas rain gauge.

Ambient Weather WS-2000 Smart Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts & Thermo Hygrometer
Great weather station, lots of info. One disappointment is there is no built-in room temp sensor. Have to but extra sensor to get the temp of the room where the base unit is located. Should be built in or the remote sensor should be included. Even my old cheapie station had this. This is the only reason it is not 5-star rated.

Ambient Weather WS-2000 Smart Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts & Thermo Hygrometer
So far, the WS-2000 is more accurate than the Tempest it’s replacing. The wind speed actually reads and the rain totals are spot on. The ability to share with multiple sites and data shares is awesome. There are probably 4 or 5 other things the WS-2000 does better than the Tempest, but that would make for a very long review.

Ambient Weather WS-5000 Ultrasonic Professional Smart Weather Station & Thermo Hygrometer
This is an amazing system. As near as I can tell, it is very accurate, it was easy to install, and it has been very reliable. While pricier than the competitors, it is worth the money.
