As advertised. Fast shipping. Price seems rather high for the plastic solar shield but there's no better option.

Ambient Weather WS-5000 Ultrasonic Professional Smart Weather Station & Thermo Hygrometer
System works incredibly well. All sensors report continuously. Would like to see a proper media server made available to read and report sensor data directly to internet, that could be set up in a media room and hooked up to a UPS so data not lost during a power failure. No practical place to put a UPS where the console is displayed. Console battery backup would also be useful. Line power to the anemometer cluster to backup solar and battery would be nice, for those of us mounting high and already running line power to anemometer heater.

Ambient Weather WS-2902 Smart Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts & Thermo Hygrometer
Before I purchased this unit, I had a few questions for support. Their responses were always very quick and always answered my questions in a manner that I could easily understand. Very simple to assemble and set up. I was replacing an old unit that had served me we well for many years, so I was able to re-use my existing AmbientWeather and WeatHERunderground accounts. Had station up and running (and reporting) within 20 minutes. I compared my data with a few other stations in my area, and data seems to be quite accurate. Will have to wait until the rain season (starts in October) to see how well the rain collector works.

Installation was very straightforward and configuring the console was in large part very intuitive and documentation was clear to follow. I did have a couple questions that I spelled out in an email to support and the responses were clear and timely.

Ambient Weather WS-2902-RAINSPIKE Bird Spike Kit for WS-1550-IP, WS-1900, WS-2000, WS-2902 and WS-2902A Rain Gauge
It works to prevent birds from sitting on the rain usage and clogging it with their poop. A good purchase.

It takes some time to comprehend the receiver since it is so busy with information. We added the lightning sensor but haven’t seen where that information is on the phone app or website screen. Awesome tech and history information.

Ambient Weather WS-5000-ARRAY Replacement Ultrasonic Anemometer, Outdoor Thermometer / Hygrometer, Solar Radiation and UV for
This was a replacement for one that was destroyed when the mounting pole failed in a strong wind. It worked perfect out of the box. No problems. And yes, I installed a much stronger mounting pole.

Ambient Weather WS-1900 Osprey Solar Powered Wireless Professional Weather Station with Solar Radiation and UV
Shipping was quick. Good instructions came with the weather station and it was easy to setup. Station works well if it would only rain so I could see how well it measures rain.

These were easy to program and linked up to the WS-2000 system as soon as I inserted the batteries. So far, these units work great- I can monitor the garage, the greenhouse, and different areas of the house- all with no issues with signal strength or interference.
