Ambient Weather WS-2902-WV Replacement Wind Vane, WS-1900, WS-2000 and WS-2902 Wireless Weather Station
This new windvane went on very easily and securely. We just had a new roof put on and I suspect one of the workers bumped it and trashed the vanes themselves. I lessened the set screw, mounted the new vane and tightened the set screw. Easy job (unless you count climbing 15 feet up an extension ladder). While the windvane itself was well made and easy to install, at $20 plus shipping I thought it was a bit expensive.

So simple to set up and it really works

First, want to thank the Ambient team for helping me select the right device. We live in the mountains so we wanted something for accurate weather information closer to our home. This device is quick and easy to set up; I had it up and running in minutes. The console gives a lot of information in an easy to see format. And the manual is well written so it makes consulting it for more information fast and easy. Very pleased with this device and the help I got from the Ambient team.

Ambient Weather WS-2801A Advanced Wireless Color Forecast Station with Temperature, Humidity and Barometer
It’s easier to set up most of the set of functions are automatic, which makes it very nice. Even the remote sensor setup and the way they sync to the main unit. It’s very easy big improvement over other units.

Morning
My experience with the staff was awesome. We determined the issue and and the part was in the mail! So far everything is working great. Except that we had freezing rain and the anemometer is frozen solid and it’s on the roof. Hahaha
Thanks again Bruce

To a peace of mind to wondering if all the media weather stations, are actually giving accurate weather over the media..It is time to invest into your own weather forecast stations to be amounted on your hone. It is worth it every penny.. Best part.,Dont request to have your weather station to install on internet. It us not safe . You still receive great information, just by hooking it up the inside and outside units . I’m loving it, every penny

Ambient Weather WeatherMount Weather Station Mount
Our shed is in the middle of the property and was the best place to locate the weather station. This mount was more than adiquate to do the job. Easy to mount on the shed wall and I only needed one extension to place the station at 9' with plenty of exposure. The build quality is enough for mounting and should last a long time. The lock bolt and nut seem a bit undersized and I can see that a washer will need to be added behind the nut. Other than that, four lag bolts to mount the bracket seems more than enough.

Ambient Weather WS-5000-ARRAY Replacement Ultrasonic Anemometer, Outdoor Thermometer / Hygrometer, Solar Radiation and UV for
sensor works great, giving it 4 stars because my original sensor only lasted 2 years. Had trouble with new sensor not being recognized, but Ambient weather was able to easily lead me through the process of recognizing the new sensor when I called them. Should be some instructions on that. Otherwise working great!

Ambient Weather WeatherMount Weather Station Mount
Great mount. Only problem was the burrs left in adjustable inside pipe, which would not allow extension to slide in. Had to use a file to remove them and a rubber hammer to get it to install the 1 st extension.

Ambient Weather WS-5000 Ultrasonic Professional Smart Weather Station & Thermo Hygrometer
I was a long time user of Davis weather station equipment and while it was reliable, it is very expensive and the setup was cumbersome. The WS-5000 has proven itself to be every bit as reliable at far less expense and the setup was easy. The only recommendation I would have for Ambient is to update the console for easier navigation, increase the screen size and include wind chill and heat index. The WX-5000 is definitely a 5 Star product, but I'd love to see a few added perks.
