Ambient Weather WS-5000 Ultrasonic Professional Smart Weather Station & Thermo Hygrometer
THE ORDERING PROCESS WAS SMOOTH AND EASY. THE EQUIPMENT (WS-5000) ARRIVED PROMPTLY AND WAS QUITE EASY TO INSTALL. THE WEATHER STATION WAS UP AND RUNNING VERY QUICKLY AND LINKED TO AMBIENT WEATHER AND WEATHER UNDERGROUND. I HAVE USED THE ONLINE SUPPORT / HELP TO ANSWER SOME BASIC QUESTIONS. ONLY COMPLAINT IS - EVEN WITH LATEST FIRMWARE, MY LIGHTNING DETECTOR BATTERY STILL SHOWS “LOW CHARGE” EVEN THOUGH IT IS NOT AND THE UNIT IS WORKING PROPERLY. OTHER THAN THAT, THE WEATHER STATION OPERATES EXCELLENTLY. THANK YOU.

Ambient Weather WS-5000 Ultrasonic Professional Smart Weather Station & Thermo Hygrometer
I upgraded my WS-1200 to the WS-5000 about a month ago. This station is great! No moving parts and rain guage can be mounted separate from the array. There are multiple optional sensors available. You can add up to 8 thermo-hygrometer, soil moisture, and/or temperature probe sensors. This is in addition to the indoor thermo-hygrometer-barometer transmitter and thermo-hygrometer in the array. I added 2 outdoor thermo-hygrometers so far and intend to add the lighting detector next. The display "tablet" is well layed out, fully informative and connects via WiFi to AWNet and Weather Underground. The AWNet android app is superb too. I would highly recommend this personal weather station!

Ambient Weather WS-2000 Smart Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts & Thermo Hygrometer
Great weather station! Super easy to set up. Just some mechanical stuff and fire it up. The sensors connect easily and find each other when you start it up. I got several extra sensors, including one to keep track of my pool temperature. It was easy to put my station on-line. I had a station 10 years ago, and the technology is much better and smoother than it was back then. It has not rained yet, but everything else seems to work really well. The console is a little simple and cheep feeling and the buttons are oddly laid out for some screens, but that's about all the worst thing I can say about it. I would recommend it to anyone and plan to buy the same one for a friend for his birthday!
