Needs to be anchored but works great

Seems to work well, but figuring out the settings is VERY difficult.

Very simple to set up, with warmer weather my array can now be in its permanent location.

This is a cool additional sensor for my weather station. I like the feature where the lightning strikes are plotted on a map of my area.

so far, so good, lots of features!!!!

overall experience was very positive would not hesitate to call again. very courteous sales person.

Very easy to set up very accurate a wonderful addition to my weather instruments. I highly recommend this rain gauge. Well worth the money.

unit works great so far. lot of thoughts put into the design

I wish it would have solved the problem. I rate the fast response (within hours) to my Saturday afternoon description of no wind speed showing a 5+. I rate the patient dialogue trying to help me diagnose the issue a 5+. The technical help and I both concluded incorrectly the wind speed assembly was the issue. Service was prompt. Once I took the old unit off and tested it, it happily behaves as a rotary switch would; 0 ohms to >100K ohms with each revolution. Soooo I took the bottom off the unit and cleaned out any tiny bug nests, and placed it in a dark drawer for a week with batteries removed. I also took the display and removed it from power and removed the batteries. when I removed the sensor unit from the drawer, I kept the solar covered and held the reset button for 3 minutes. I then re- assembled the entire unit, placed new batteries, reset the display, resynced the display to sensors, and behold!! All functions display except wind speed. Regardless of speed, it shows 0.0 mph. I now have 2 working speed sensors that don't communicate the wind speed. What next? Transmitter board or display?

Fixed the problem and was easy to install

Two comments: 1) should be included with the WS, and 2) should be a single-piece slip-on ring. Sort of goofy with the SS band. The rain collector should have an edge or slots or something to accept the spike ring--this was clearly an afterthought. That said, I am pleased that the birds will not be pooping or nest-building in my sensor!

Product was easy to setup and has been functioning perfectly.

Great product, easy to install, works very well

Excellent station and support.. Thinking of adding a second station to my property.

Once setup, this a great weatherstation.
The problem is that the app and the station did not connect. The manual is unclear and the website did not offer pertinent information of a KNOWN workaround for iPhone connectivity issues. I spent 4 days trying to get this setup. I spoke to a tech at Ambient who resolved this issue with me within 5 minutes. If it wasn't for the delay in getting setup, I would have given this a 5 star rating.

Easy set up. Added additional probe sensors. Monitoring greenhouse and soil. Updated the firmware to name channels. Logging to sim card. Base at 150ft from sensors. Channel 1 intermittent during severe thunder storm. Recommended.

Nowhere did I read that it would auto connect to my existing system. That would have saved me some frustration. Works awesome after 20 or so minutes.

Having recently switched from a different brand of Weather Station, I was familiar with most of the features included in this model. The exception being the wifi connected data sharing. The procedure was, to me, straight forward on paper but fell apart when attempting to achieve the written instructions. I did get the share working but without using the provided station ID and Key

Really like the 4.75 sec update interval of the ultrasonic anemometer. All sensors seem to be very responsive to changing weather conditions and accurate. Very good layout on the display console which has many options and ways to use your data on-line.

The lightning detector was very easy to add to my WS-2000 weather station. It is working as advertised and is a welcome addition.
