Ambient Weather WS-2902 Smart Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts & Thermo Hygrometer
Very pleased with my purchase works great. This unit replaced a five year old WS-2902 unit that was really showing its age from the middle Tennessee area. Took me less than 15 minutes to change out the station and have it linked online. The new AWNET configuration app is heads and shoulders above the previous AmbientTool app and made it a snap to get connected to my Wi-Fi. Also had a pleasant surprise when I powered down the old unit, the old unit transceiver began displaying data from the new unit so now I have two!

It had it's first test the day after it was delivered and it was spot on with the distance and number of strikes.

Ambient Weather WS-1900 Osprey Solar Powered Wireless Professional Weather Station with Solar Radiation and UV
My husband was excited to get the system up and reading the weather!! It is amazing how many times one check the inside readings for rain or wind speed. (I wish the inside monitor was a little brighter, but that is just my preference. No big deal.)

These are "plug and play" .. Just install a battery (not included in kit / packaging) .. Note: outdoor installation does require some sort of protective covering ...

Ambient Weather WH31L Lightning Detector for Models WS-2000, WS-5000
Easy to install, my weather station found it as soon as I put batteries in the sensor. Mounted it outdoors on the pole where the weather instruments are and the signal is pretty strong. Took a month or two to actually get a storm to test it out but when we finally did have a thunderstorm, this detected distant lightning before I even noticed it. The lightning detector worked like a champ. Tip: set up text alerts to be notified of approaching storms.
For the price, this can’t be beat. Recommended with no hesitation.

Finally a thunderstorm to check out the lightning detector on the WS5000. Works great detecting strikes up to 35 miles away.
