The software has been reliable so far, and the subscription is affordable. I am new to Ambient products, but I find them better than the brand have have maintained for over two decades. I am glad I switched.

Bought a replacement screen for one that had developed a really annoying whine (electrical problem). With the new AC adapter, all is quiet and love the bold, easy-to-read interface! Great product, highly recommend. Order the replacement part was super easy and it showed up MUCH faster than expected!

Ambient Weather WS-5000 Ultrasonic Professional Smart Weather Station & Thermo Hygrometer
Works as advertised. I especially iike the info presented on both the console and the app. Integration with Weather Underground is good too. Glad I purchased a mechanical rain gauge; haptic rain gauges get poor reviews. On the console, I would prefer the outside temp to be larger, so that it could be seen easier across a room. The mix of paper and online manuals need to be cleaned up. Versioning is awful, and some manuals have outdated info. Otherwise, all good. Ask me again in five years.

Ambient Weather WS-2000 Smart Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts & Thermo Hygrometer
I really like the WS-2000. When home, the Monitor provides an excellent quick view of the current weather indicators. While away from home, I appreciate the WiFi Remote Monitoring on my phone.

Ambient Weather WS-5000-RAINSPIKE Bird Spike Kit for WS-5000 Rain Gauge
Really glad that I got this upgrade to the WS-5000. Fits perfect and looks to be made very sturdy. It should hold up for many years in our southeast climate. The rain funnel sits a little higher and looks much better than the original rain funnel and spikes.

Ambient Weather WS-2902 Home Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts & Thermo Hygrometer
Outdoor station is doing well. Being able to see current temperature, humidity, wind speed and direction is great. Most importantly is the rain gauge. Since we don't live beside the airport we now know exactly how much we have gotten.

Ambient Weather WS-2902-RAINSPIKE Bird Spike Kit for WS-1550-IP, WS-1900, WS-2000, WS-2902 and WS-2902A Rain Gauge
Only once since I put it on did a bird get to it. He must have circled and aimed from on high. It was a direct hit. I think he was quite proud of himself. I must say I think he was gifted.
