Ambient Weather WS-5000 Ultrasonic Professional Smart Weather Station & Thermo Hygrometer
Generally, the unit is fine. There are some issues I have with it but its not just this unit. When I heard you can buy a heater for it I thought great, they finally have a heated rain collector but that wasn’t the case, disappointed again. I do wish the app had a little more info such as more temperature sensors that can be seen instead of the one outdoor sensor. Also the lightning detector indicator is like an after thought. Not sure if it is even displayed in the app yet, had no lightning since I installed it.

Ambient Weather WS-2902 Smart Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts & Thermo Hygrometer
Straight forward install. Followed the instructions, especially the part that suggested waiting a few days to bench-test operation and sort through installation issues. Started correctly, no issues after 3 months. Seems like a well made product.

Ambient Weather WS-2000 Smart Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts & Thermo Hygrometer
Easy to install and use. The only problem I've had is that the snow and ice in Michigan's Upper Peninsula stopped the unit in it's tracks for over a week but once the sin came out things were fine.

Works great. Easy to set up. Great display. Lots of fun. Just need to find a higher place for mounting to get better wind and solar data.

This is a great weather station, and combined with the ambientweather.net website allows me to monitor our summer home in Washington while we're at our winter home in Arizona. It has been operational now for 6 months and has been trouble free.

Due to the microclimates in my area, I purchased this item for use mostly with my Rachio irrigation system. Wish I had done it sooner, as I now have much better accuracy with my watering.
A bonus is that I now have a comprehensive weather monitoring system right here in my home. The only thing that I couldn't do was to buy a second matching console for the unit, as they haven't had them available as an extra part as yet. I purchased the older one which works fine, but I prefer the newer one. No real biggie.

So far so good. Rain gauge seems to be off compared to amount of rain.

Great Product. Works perfectly and as specified. Got great help in getting all my installation and mounting questions answered. Also got some help in the software setup. Connected to Weather Underground easily and continues to broadcast smoothly. Love this product and the company.

The 5000 station has been working great, and all the extra sensors you can add makes it even better (I have most of them now). The web interface works very well, and the text/email alerts have been working perfectly (better than I thought they would). More importantly, customer service has just been outstanding, answering questions quickly or sending out replacement parts if something isn't working correctly.
