So far the ws4000 works well.

Best weather station I found for the price.
Easy to set up, has a lot of information The app is free and easy to use and set up.

Perfect adapter for our unit.

Instructions clear on structure set up. Wi-Fi seemed to confuse me. It is working like a charm at 6000 feet elevation and lots of wind.

Easy to replace, and it works

After a lightning strike to a tree ,approximately 15 yds from our station, our array lost communication with our console. No apparent damage so assuming EMF from strike knocked it out. Ordered new array and it within a week. Easy to install and setup, great directions and voila, up and running again. Great customer service and a great product.

Have had the station installed for 1 week and have no complaints. Currently have an 11 year old Davis VP2 that’s starting to have some problems and data is nearly identical. Easy to set up and connect to internet, which is what I wanted to see information away from home.
More features and less money was appealing to me. Happy with the station so far.

If your main console is hissing or turns on and shuts off a new power adapter should solve the problem. Ws2000 is what this was intended for and solved the problem.

I have previously owned the ws2000 for the past 5 years. I recently upgraded to the ultrasonic ws5000 and there have been some good improvements. The biggest Improvement was the wind calculation. Due to the non-moving parts it is much more accurate than the one with the spinning cups. The display is also seems to be a lot better and it's features and brightness. I also purchased the lightning strike indicator. This is really a neat feature when thunderstorms are close by.
Some of the improvements that I would like to see offered is on the lightning strikes. It will display a flash on the display, but would like to be able to have a programmable alarm at least initially when lightning is picked up by the sensor. I realize that there can be several hundred lightning strikes but it would be nice to have at least the first one programmable on an alarm or where it alerts a mobile phone/s until there are no other lightning strikes after ta period of time when the storm passes. Also setting up weather Underground was not really clear in the instructions. Had to go review a video to get the Weather Underground server information to be able to program the display. It would be nice if they had a instructional video or written instructions that would have made the setup much easier.

Works great. Just wish I purchased it sooner

This is a great station. Living in Dixie Alley & after being hit by 2 tornadoes within 15 months, it gives me peace of mind.

Returned this item because my wind speed and direction stopped working so I ordered the complete outside unit. Have installed it and it is working great. My old unit was over (5) yrs. old and I used it in SC where I lived about (75) yds from the ocean and it was treated with a lot of salty fog and spray. Great piece of equipment.

Did good

I have wanted a full-featured weather station for several years and finally treated myself to the WS-4000. I wanted a system with no moving parts, no need for power connected to the sending unit, and a nice display panel to go next to the coffee machine. This system delivered! Set-up was easy and mounting on a 1" mast was as good as it gets. We just had our first rain and I was thrilled that the built-in piezo sensor gave an accurate reading. This is a great unit that's easy to enjoy.

The weather window goes well in my family room. I have the layout that shows the current and future cast along with the Temp, Wind, Dew Point, and rain amount. I get a lot of useful information to plan my day just by looking at it.

The array arrived quickly, great communication.

Thanks

I bought this to replace a sensor that blew off of the house during a bad storm. The model number was different to the old one I had, but it looks and functions identically. My weather station has lasted 6 years so far, and I hope to get many more out of it.

It immediately fired up and connected to the existing display.

Gives all the basics and I added 4 soil moisture probes as well. Excellent customer service- it is confusing at first but then easy as pie after that.

Easy installation, and so far so good as to it’s purpose.
