Works as intended

Only flaw is the back light needs to be brighter or it needs an option to change the color scheme. I have the display setting on a window ledge and the sunlight makes it difficult to see some of the information.

Ambient Weather WS-5000-RAINSPIKE Bird Spike Kit for WS-5000 Rain Gauge
Required a bit of finesse to put together, but it fits and appears to be keeping the birds off the rain gauge. Now they sit on the wind/temp unit instead and mess on the solar panel. I elected not to bend the spikes as that was too much trouble, and so far so good.

Ambient Weather WS-2902-AC Replacement AC Adapter, WS-2902 Wireless Weather Station
When the screen on my 4 year old Weather Station started acting up, I consulted the user manual but could not find any information in the trouble shooting section so I e-mailed Ambient Customer Service. Tim diagnosed the problem as a faulty AC adapter. I ordered the new AC adapter. It arrived in just a few days and was the answer to my problem! My Weather Station works perfectly again! I did not realize how dependent I was on it or how many times a day I looked at it until it went out. Thank you Ambient for an accurate diagnosis and affordable repair solution!
