I had the unfortunate experience with hail stones as big as golf balls and my original WS-2000 was destroyed. The replacement was easy to assemble and install on the post. It works just like a charm. I had purchased other weather stations from other companies and Ambient Weather by far for me is the best. Thank you for a great product and customer service.

My WS-2000 works well with this AC adapter.

I bought this unit to replace another array that was damaged in a recent storm. These WS-2902 arrays are durable and reliable. Many years of use. Can't say enough good things about them.

Purchased a WS-5000 ultrasonic weather station after a significant wind storm pulled off a WS-2902 station from a fixed, mounted fence pole. Used an Ambient Weather tripod to level and guy out the WS-5000. After setting the display/receiver at one location 145 feet from the WS-5000 transmitter, I would get fluctuating receiver strengths (0-4bars) with nothing else changing. The rainfall transmitter (seems to be two frequencies or transmitters - 1 for rain, 1 for all else) would be a solid 4bar signal strength. Finally after moving the display/receiver around a few feet in different locations, both signal strengths are a solid 4bars full time.

Another small improvement in the display/receiver would be to add a battery backup to allow the display to be unplugged and moved without losing the daily statistics. On the plus side, I like the ability to set backlight/display to turn on and off in the morning and evening. There's a lot more usable info on the WS-5000 display over the WS-2902 display. Also like the separate indoor sensor that can be placed outside of any direct sunlight views; the WS-2902 integrates indoor temperature within the display. If the WS-2902 display is exposed to direct sunlight the black body heats up and gives a false high temperature reading. Still use a second sensor on the porch to give three different readings on the WS-5000 - another nice feature.

On the whole a good upgrade and hope it can withstand the high winds in the current configuration.

Perfect replacement and easy to install. Love it!

A new power cord solved my issue of 5000 not working. Simple fix.

Easy to set up and easy to read.

Really, it works

Nice replacement...............price in my opinion $2-$3.00 high though.

I'm a sailor and beach advocate. I'm always outside and rely on my weather station to plan my day and remotely understand the weather patterns of the day. I was so disappointed when my station would not display outside temperature. Other outside measurements like UV, wind, and rain worked perfectly.

I dreaded the cost of a new station. I've explored and owned other brand-named stations, but appreciate the design behind Ambient over the others that also failed.

Inspection of the old 5000-Array really revealed what the central Florida sun can do to outdoor hardware. Things do not last long in the Florida sun.

I was very pleased that purchasing only the Array was an option. The exchange was was 'almost' plug-n-play, with the only challenge of diving deep into the configuration setting and deleting the old Array ID and then allowing the new Array to be found. Instructions specific to "Array Replacement" would be a-plus! (take note Ambient!)

The station is working perfectly once again!

It was exactly what I wanted, exactly what I expected, and exactly what I got. Immediately paired with my base station, with no extra configuration required. This is the way it should be.

I haven't gotten to our coast house to put it on yet. going there on 4th, but I'm sure it is going to fit just fine as it is the same as the one I have here in Pendleton

Works great
I can check temp on my Quack Shack from my phone

Ordered replacement console. Plug and play. Works great. No issues.

They knew exactly what was wrong and were able to ship the part out right away. Great Job Guys!!!

I really appreciate how quickly you helped me get my weather station back up and running!

Unit is easy to set up and very informative. Display is too small to be read from distance away from a desk top.

Works immediately and continues

WS-2801A. Good graphics on screen, appreciate the ability to dim or turn off the backlight. Hard wire for power is a big benefit vs the battery option I previously owned. So far the system is functioning without issue. Very good purchase.

Easy to setup and been working great since installation.
