Fixed it

This device tells not just the temperature in three places but the time, air pressure and humidity. A winner in my book.

Works great and detects at long distance. Gives me enough time to unplug things.

The WH31E works seamlessly with my WS-5000, very easy setup

I bought the WS-4000 model. It was very easy to setup and install. I attached it to some 1 1/4" PVC pipe with a 3/4" nipple at the end, drilled a couple of holes in the 1 1/4" pvc and screwed into a fence post. The display is very well designed and there are many options you can configure such as the update / logging interval, units displayed, etc. I activated my AmbientWeather.net subscription and now I can read my weather sensors anywhere I am. I like the fact that you can save your weather data to a micro-SD card and export to .csv (excel). I would give it 5 starts but I am still learning features and already have found one thing that is very annoying. I hope it will be corrected in a future firmware upgrade. - The problem is that the WS-4000 has a haptic rain sensor, but when you power up the display (not the sensor, just the display), it defaults to a 'standard rain sensor'. As a result no rain accumulation or current rain is displayed. So if you have a power failure it will reboot and you will need to go into configuration mode and select the proper type of rain sensor in order for the display to show the rain sensor.
Really? This is really a simple thing to fix. Unless of course their is no non-volatile memory in the device, or the sensor cannot communicate what type of sensor is installed. If and when they correct this oversight, I would readily give it a 5 star review.

I already had a weather station and one day the temperature and humidity stoped working so instead of buying an entire new weather station I purchased this hoping it would fix the issue and it did!

I enjoyed the WS-2902A, but the WS-4000's ease of setup and installation, absence of moving parts, and low-to-no maintenance beat it hands down. Also like the sleek design and flashing blue transmission indicator. The haptic rain gauge seems to be pretty accurate.

An exact replacement part. Fairly easy install. Works great. Reasonably priced.

Love the indoor AQI. Helps me be aware of air quality in the house for my sensitive parrots.

I live on the MS Gulf Coast and it is hot, hot in the summer for about 5 1/2 months. This year we had a snow storm with 8 inches of snow and several days well below freezing - as cold a 10 degrees. My six-year old WS2000 quit reporting the temperature a few days after the storm passed although other readings still worked. The replacement was easy to install and set up was flawless. This was a nice surprise given past experiences with electronics that take all day to set up. Love it.

My WS-5000 array worked perfectly for three years. I felt disappointed about that short a life. The array stopped transmitting suddenly one morning without any previous signs of "illness." An email to customer service went unanswered, but a voice phone call later to customer service provided excellent troubleshooting where we discovered the batteries were at top voltage, so there was a circuit problem where the $200 array portion had to be replaced. At least I got a 10% discount code for signing up for emails on the website. The new array installed easily after reading installation directions that came with the new unit.

Temperature quit working but rain and windy still working. Obviously not a wireless problem.

Instead if having to replace entire assembly just had to replace thermohygrapher ay only $30.

Original AC Adapter died causing the display tablet to not boot up. One call to the help line and I got the answer to try this replacement. The fellow recognized and had a name for the problem I described. The new unit works just fine and the system has been up and running since I plugged it in. Simple solution.

Easy to set up
App works better than most I’ve seen in the past
Was a major upgrade to what I had
Would definitely suggest to anyone interested it’s well worth the money and the good investment

Works great

I recently purchased a replacement funnel for rain gage cylinder from Ambient Weather. It arrived promptly and in good condition. The fit and finish was just like the old Taylor model

It works!

It’s a second display, so it’s just like the one I’ve had for awhile now. The only thing that’s a little disappointing is the forecast function. I don’t know if it’s a long range forecast or just isn’t very reliable, but it’s not very accurate forecasting the weather coming the next day.

I added this additional sensor to monitor a greenhouse's temperature and humidity. That building is approximately 150 feet from the wireless router and has good signal strength. The sensor was easy to configure and works well with the AW console and the internet. I have not investigated a method to rename the sensor to be more appropriately named "greenhouse". The sensor is reasonably priced and saves time and effort checking the conditions manually.
