installation and use was just like the original array.

This was just the thing I needed to get back up and running. Prompt shipping

Thermo-hygrometer sensor stopped working. Ordered a replacement sensor. replacement was easy. Fit perfectly. Working great.

So far it seems to be working like it should. Haven't seen any birds on it since the install.

Living in Maine and especially this winter with the sub zero temperatures with the blowing snow, I noticed that my wind and direction seem to be suffering with my new WS-5000 weather station. I have a miniature old fashioned windmill for lawn art near my station. I noticed that could compare the direction and intensity of the wind with my PWS. The station before one wind driven snow storm, had always corresponded with the windmill and I noticed snow up inside that ultrasonic area and I was not getting any data on the console. So hence I ordered the ultrasonic heater and installed the unit, which was very easily to install. The unit with its water tight plug connections, and 65' cord, was a breeze. At first I thought it was making my outdoor temperatures higher by a few degrees but after a simple test of taking a reading of the temp, unplugging the unit from the 120 volt outlet and seeing if the temp went down, which it did not. Same reading with it on or off, made no difference. I have waited for blowing snow storm with sleet and snow with temperatures at 15 degrees, to give it the final test. Wala, every windmill action I was able to see, the direction and change in wind speed relating to the speed of the windmill blades. Super happy and if you are a real weather nerd like me, in a cold snowy climate, I would say it is a must. Wish I would have ordered with the station, it is posted cheaper as an add on accessory with purchase of the station. Good job, Ambient!

My replacement arrived quickly! They work great!

Easy to setup.

We have been thoroughly pleased with the data gathered from our WS-5000 with lightning detector and 1 soil moisture monitor.

My WS-2000 is providing good data that is more accurate and believable than the many weather apps I have tried. The app shows the readings of many weather stations in my region. Some setup instructions in the book didn't work and I got very fast and accurate service from the customer service function, problems solved. I have one comment on the engineering. If leveling is really important, then somebody should realize that the bubble level (which will be way up in the air) is pretty useless. Two-axis leveling of the mounting pole can be done but that again requires an up-and-down sequence to get from where you measure to where you adjust it. a means of adjusting unit leveling from the mounting point is needed.

The unit is high quality and easy to setup. I like the Ambient Weather network and the graphs it provides. I had a problem with a sensor and support helped me reset it. My only complaint is that resetting the unit took 24 hours and I had to remove it from the outdoor mounting and put it in a dark closet. A more streamlined process would be nice - hopefully it doesn't happen often.

Worked like it’s supposed to

If it works it's great. It works

Works as advertised.

Works great and easy to setup!

I've had the weather station for several years now and have come to rely on it. I was worried when the outdoor temperature starting failing intermittently. I was happy to find that parts are available and thought that the replacement part was well priced and it arrived quickly. Very happy.

After about 2 years I started having issues with my WS-2000 weather station, it would work for a few hours then stop, I thought it was the batteries that I just replaced a month ago, so I went up on the roof and took down the array and noticed there was moister inside the solar panel, and it was breaking down, the batteries tested as new, I guess moister enter the array and killed the electronics, I was glad to see Ambient sold just a replacement array, so I ordered one and within an hour everything was good again, I was just disappointed something failed in the array in just 2 years but glad Ambient sells replacement parts.

.works well

I called Ambient Weather customer support because my WS-2000 weather station died. It was restarting over and over. They said I probably needed to replace the power supply. $20 later, my unit is back online.

Great customer service!
