Quick shipping and good packaging. I was able to set it up the first day. Still isn't picking up the geological time but that may be due to where I put the sensor. I will move the sensor and try again. Replaced an older unit form another manufacturer due to the better ratings for Ambient devices.

I’m trying to return the item bc I realized my existing one does still work. No one will return a message or email. When I call I get pushed to voicemail that no one will return.

I was a little upset when I spoke with the customer service dept. The sensor unit went out on our WS2902D weather station which I bought in October 2023. I was told I needed to a whole new sensor unit for approximately $139 since it was out of the 1 year warranty.
Our previous WS2902 that lasted 5 years until the weather finally got to it. Ambient does make a great weather station and we have enjoyed our weather stations. Just don’t understand why this one gave up after only a year and 3 months.
Thanks,
Bob Blackburn

I purchased 5 Ambient Weather remote readers for my (already owned) Ambient Weather station (home station). All five readers were perfectly calibrated together, temperature and humidity.

Excellent service and a great weather station!

Overall, very good. My outdoor weather station is somewhat sensitive to sun exposure, reading four to five degrees (F) higher than nearby sensors in the shade on sunny days, but otherwise I'm pleased. The refrigerator/freezer sensors are great, and the app is awesome.

Hands down, the WS-5000 is the best weather station I have ever had. All the accessories are easily installed. Couldn't wish for anything more.

My reponce is shaded by the replacement—which was difficult to install—did not fix the problem. It now appears to be the display and I simply too discouraged at moment to try anything more. Too bad, we liked the unit.

I missed the item that said the 4000 could not due snow I should have gone with the 5000 so it is my mistake. I had a trouble signing up the 4000 was not listed. I had to use a lesser model that was. The direction leave a lot to be desired.
