I have an older 5 sensor system and was looking to replace two worne out units, but I wanted to find out if there was a WiFi system for an ub\pgrade. I called you customer help line and left a message, but they never got back to me BAD!!
I got the two replacement sensors, and they work fine. GOOD

got the part I needed and got it installed and it works great again.

Very helpful!

Accessory arrived quickly!

While the bird spikes on the rain gauge are a bit pricey for what you get, they are reasonably easy to install and it looks like they will do the job. Delivery was a couple of days faster than predicted at time of purchase. I made a similar setup on my former Davis rig that worked well.

The hardware is great. Only 3 stars because the wifi connections are vaguely described, making it difficult to determine how to setup. Block diagram with flow of data and controls would help immensely. For example, sensors to/from display..do this. To add display to a laptop/phone do this..to Internet do this, to cloud do this. I found it difficult to do the minimum to get just what I wanted.

Good and easy purchase. Very easy to get through the purchasing process.

The weather system works very well!

Ordered the part, paid for the part, Ambient sent the part through UPS, but UPS says, for 3 weeks now, the part is delayed. Contacted Ambient and they say not their problem. I am composing a complaint to the Federal Trade Commission, the Florida Consumer Protection, and the Better Business Bureau.

Unable to connect to wifi

I ordered the WS-5000 as well as a few other accessories. The only thing that arrived was a soil moisture sensor- no one has followed back up with me. This order is for Vanguard corporate headquarters, we could not be more disappointed. I personally own a Tempest, wish I would have ordered that in this instance.

WS-5000 tablet started a constant reboot cycle. Ambient website was quite clear that this was a sign of a bad power supply. Ordered new supply, received in six days and plugged in and all working fine once again. Suggest that Ambient look into a more robust power supply that lasts more than two years.

Good value, came fast.

My shopping experience was great. I do love having the weather station where I can get accurate weather. My only complaint is that the rain meter on my WS 5000 should not have malfunctioned in the less than two years I have owned the machine. I hope this rain meter lasts longer than the original piece.

Product is great. Not great communication on shipping product to me. Never received updates on where the product was in shipping and I checked my spam/junk email. Other than that, the product is wonderful.

Love the website. Love the products and services. Ordering is simple and easy. This is my 3rd weather station that I ordered from them.. 1 as a gift 1 to replace an older ambient weather station ,that I had for years.

Ordering my WS-2000 was easy. Delivery was on time set up was easy and where questions were required. I went to the website and got answers. After tinkering with some settings, currently the machine is working fabulously.

This was a replacement for an existing unit. It works quite well..

I received the WS-4000 as a Christmas gift. I got my weather station in operation very quickly without any issues. I am a Skywarn weather spotter here in Michigan. I have wanted a weather station to measure precipitation and wind velocity, as well as, the usual weather data. I appreciate the annual totals feature, and the weather event features. The moon phase, barometer, sunrise and sunset feature with hourly progression is really neat. As a Skywarn Spotter, the NWS asks us for rainfall totals and wind measurements during severe weather events. I can now provide that data, other than using a manual rain gauge measurement. The weather has turned dramatically cold since receiving the weather station for Christmas. The console was easy to set up, and was providing data without any connectivity issues. Our WiFi booster likely helps, a lot, given the upstairs location of our router and a brick home to the weather station location outside. The precipitation measurement reset on January 1. That was a positive feature. I am very pleased with this station. I don't have it sited to its permanent location just yet because the ground is frozen and it is difficult to install the pole mount into the ground and attached to an existing 4x4 post. We also bought the 6ft pole kit, which is very heavy duty and will do an excellent job securing the weather array. In conclusion, I am very pleased with my new weather station, after studying about them for a few years. The WS-4000 was the perfect set-up for me, low maintenance, solar charging, and no wind cups to keep ice and snow free in the winter.

Easy set up and if you run into any issues you can talk with a real human..what a concept.
