On-line site was easy to navigate. Product arrived in a timely manner with standard shipping. I was able to buy the most recent version of my home weather station (WS-2902D) that wasn't readily available on Amazon without having it originate from China. And... I really appreciate the free shipping! Also I think the owners manual is very well prepared, much clearer than many.

Hard to find the replacement for the rain funnel and leaf guard for my model. Turns out that the only one listed, which says that it is for my model is not exactly the original one. The original had 3 3 plastic extrusions to fit the three indents, and the other sections fit down on rubbery pads. The replacement has 6 extrusions, so it doesn’t really fit without taking a mini saw or file to eliminate the non-fitting plastic bumps

The new WS-2902D console was a replacement for an old but still functional 2902 (pre-model A). I was annoyed that the old console could no longer connect to WiFi because of mobile software incompatibility. Also annoyed that support for direct connection to Weather Underground had been discontinued (this was not clear in the updated manual, nor in the new web interface). It's understandable that software support cannot continue indefinitely, so caveat emptor. That said, my interactions with technical support were straightforward and helpful.

I was excited to receive my WS-5000, but when it arrived, it didn't look like what was on the website or in the videos (tutorial and sales.) It included a hub rather than a screen. The included instructions were vague and incomplete. As it turns out, I did set it up correctly, but didn't realize that I needed to download the AWN app to see my dashboard. That part should be clear in the instructions. Also, the videos on the Ambient site should be relevant to the product they shipped. It was a weekend, so I could contact Ambient, On Monday I called Ambient tech support, but their phone system kept hanging up on me. I finally called returns and was able to connect with someone that helped me get set up. It then took a lot of searching to figure out how to get it connected to my CWOP call sign. I think it's a great product, but could be better with better follow through.

Overall good system, works well, frequent updates etc. Went through Hurricane Milton without major damage, lost the wind cups and wind direction units (probably didn't fasten them correctly). Display is too small for us, but we like it very much.
