The response was extremely slow. I had already tried the hard reset but I had to wait a week or more to be told try try again (with longer times). I replied that the second reset (3rd or 4th actually) didn’t work but I had to wait another week or longer for a reply. That reply simply suggested that I order another outdoor temperature array. I would have done that on the first email had the information been provided. As a result, I went through tropical storm Debbie on the coast with no weather data. Not a good feeling

I ordered the WS4000 weather station with an extra console and the lightning detector. The extra console did not work with the weather station. I returned that and was told that the WS 1965 console will work with the Ws4000. That console wouldn’t work either! That was returned as well. How do I get a second console that works with the WS4000? Also, why was I charged to ship back the consoles? It wasn’t my fault they didn’t work. I’m not a happy customer.

It took over a week after ordering to receive the console. Upon unboxing, it was apparent that the console was not new, as the protective film had been removed and sloppily replaced. After plugging in the unit, setting it up was impossible, as there was no way to use the keyboard—no characters or numbers were highlighted/illuminated. Called telephone support for troubleshooting, and the Ambient Weather representative concluded that the unit was defective. An RA was emailed to return the unit via UPS. I requested that a new unit be shipped immediately—even if it meant I would be charged and then refunded when the defective unit was received by UPS. “Matt” agreed to this and assured me a replacement unit would be shipped out that day. The following day, I still had not received confirmation of the new shipment, so I called and talked to Matt again. I also requested some consideration for all this inconvenience by receiving an upgraded method of shipping, to which Matt agreed. By the end of the day, I did receive shipping confirmation, but no information about the delivery date. So far, my purchasing experience with this company has been VERY disappointing.
