The screw for the wind cup did not screw properly into the plastic. The hole had to be enlarged with a drill and then a different screw put in to lock the wind cups to the station. I bought two of the stations and both had the same problem. Somebody without tools and mechanical knowledge would have had to return the unit to Ambient Weather.

I replaced an earlier model with a newer upgraded WS 2000. Ambient technical support was very helpful and diagnosing the fatal problem with my original unit and was very helpful in my purchase of a new unit. There were some difficulties connecting to Wunderground after installing the new unit and again technical support was greatly helpful in getting that resolved. Is delightful to talk to knowledgeable, clearly understandable, tech-support people who quickly and effectively address a customers concerns. In some ways, this is a breath of fresh air when compared to other technical products and companies so called customer service experience.

I needed a WS3000 with 8 temp probe sensors and data logging. That combination is not sold on the website. However, if you call the nice people at sales, they'll hook you right up. Very happy with what I received.
I had a glitch, missed a step in the setup, so the console only showed five of the eight sensors. I called customer support, which took two or three tries, but once I got through, Odell straightened me out in about a minute.
If I was going to nitpick about something, I'd like to label the sensors with names that make sense to me on the console. Maybe an upcoming firmware upgrade?
Best package I found for displaying multiple sensors.

Don’t waste your money. Lightning detector does not even register when actual lightning happens, but cries wolf with false alarms when nothing is happening. Unreliable.
