It was easy to order my replacement weather station, and it showed up quickly and in good order. I didn't do any "shopping", as I just needed to replace a failed WS-2902.

I bought my unit specifically to share my location-specific weather data with friends and family on the other side of the country. Said I can setup F/C, which is important because I'm in Canada. Disappointed to find out that when I share my link it's in F and the only way somebody can change it is to signup for account and update prefs! The world uses Metric but you need an account to default. They have a button on their main website to switch easily, but not on the Public shared dashboards.
Had I known, I wouldn't have bothered buying this. Until this is fixed I won't bother sharing with anybody. There is 0 reason they can't geo-target the metric based on where the user is AND provide a button switch on ALL pages with data.

It would be nice to be able to show the w31 remote without showing indoor temps.

This purchase was a replacement for damaged one I have had for several years. It works as well or better than the old one. Syncing with the monitor was simple and easily done. I would gladly use your devices again

I ordered a lightning detector. Since I put it up we had only one lightning day. It took about 5 minutes to put up. Very simple process. It dented occasional strikes up to 20 miles away. So far so good. It will get a true test on future days with plenty of strikes from all distances: long and short.

This is my second weather station and my experience with my first purchase was excellent. The company has been sold and the new owners don't seem to have the same customer service philosophy as the original owner. I had several problems ordering and now my order does not even show up on my account page. When I asked why, I was told there is not a way to add the purchase to my history manually. As a result, I have my purchase confirmation, but no record of the purchase on the website and maybe as a result no warranty. They just dont seem to care. When calling, never an answer. Only form template replies to emails. Dont think I will ever buy another unit from Ambient.

Had a few issues and took back and forth two many times and there is a shipping charge issue to be resolved. But a positive experience

Unit is very good. I recommend putting the mounting plate on before the speed cups and wind vane so you can turn the unit over without damage to the plastic cups and vane.
The numbering of items in the manual seems to be a mixture of current info and previous version as the numbers do not match, but a little careful reading will get you most answers.
I have a problem talking to tech support but have sent email.
