The unit I received had an inoperable console. I corresponded with tech support about it and they authorized a return of just the console. They sent me a link to print a return label. When I clicked on that link, I was told I needed to pay $26 shipping to return the defective console. I did not agree to pay shipping for a defective product. I have asked my credit card company to get a full refund for the product, as the company does not want to deliver a working product for the purchase price. I have since purchased a Sainlogic weather station, which worked properly right out of the box. According to the reviews I’ve seen, even when the AmbientWeather console works, it isn’t as bright and readable as the Sainlogic console. If you would like me to send the entire AmbientWeather station back, I’d be happy to do that, but I won’t pay the shipping. I’d say there is a lot of room for improvement in your Quality Control department, which could have done a better job in checking the console before it was shipped. Your Customer Service Department’s insistence that customers pay return shipping costs for defective units is not right, and the design/readability of your console should be updated.

Fast international shipping. Very easy setup, no problems! Works great!

I haven't received it yet and it's been weeks. was hoping to have it before the cyclone's crossed but even Kirrily moved faster. it's still on its way allegedly.

A positive experience. Ordering was easy, shipment was remarkably quick to Australia, weather station was easy to set up, and it has been working well. I also prefer the ambient weather app compared to some of the other leading apps out there.

Easy to order and great communication.

It's way too hard to keep the weather station connected to the internet; always fails permanently even if there is only a brief interruption in service; and I can't sign in any more.

My product came quickly and was just what I needed.

After getting through the set up. The ip address I went to, to set up the wifi neven sent me the email it said it would. I tried a number of times. This weather station is still will not reporting to my computer or my phone. I contacted the company and have not gotten any answers as to what can be done. I can not recommend this product or company at this time.

Awesome experience and fast shipping.

Very frustrating process trying to get my unit fixed. Ticket #89591. Temp sensor quit working. David DeTiege suggested the new part. Part was ordered and installed. This took over 2 weeks. New part has not fixed the issue. Emailed David for suggestions on what to do next. No response for over a week. Could someone please call me on this. Bob Ford 248 736 6301. I have 3 of these units currently. Terrible customer service so far.

My camera could not be installed an support does not exist. Do not buy this product unless you are an expert on network installation.
The only support given is a phone number, but no one ever answers, Leaving a message doesn't work either.
My only recourse is to issue a charge back from my credit card issueer.

The item was spot on!
..and came the next day!
Awesome.

I ordered a rain funnel as mine had blown off. I ordered it on line and it came quickly. I had sent an email and telephoned to get support as I also wanted coil, but never heard from anyone. If I had heard back and could have ordered the coil my review would have been 5 stars.

Easy install and setup, mounted the outdoor unit same pole as the old Ws1001!
Easy connect to the Ambient Network.

I was impressed with the rapid response to my order for a console for my WS 5000. However supplied was a switching adaptor with US terminals. It would have been more appropriate to have been sent one that I could use within the UK. Surely not a difficult request. As for the weather station itself, a great unit.

Customer support was very helpful and pointed us to the right part to fix our rain gauge.

Order arrived quickly and in good shape. Thanks.

Good web site. Easy to order on line. Time will tell. 1st time customer.

Equipment not as good as the older models. Documentation and instructions for connecting to networks are hard to follow.

The purchasing and return were fine. The problem was that the mounting hardware was not stainless steel and therefore would rust badly in this coastal area. It is a shame that such a small thing is not done properly using all stainless steel!
