I needed to replace a sending unit after several years in the elements. It was fairly easy to figure out which one (could have been a little easier, thus the one star downgrade.) Shipping was quick. Overall happy.

Thermal sensor failed in my weather station (mounted next to core sound so it is exposed to salt in the air etc) after years of use. Ordered a replacement -- came with the whole rain gauge assembly. Popped off the old, put on the new, worked perfectly. The only hard part of the swap was getting the wiring clip inserted into the new unit -- it's tiny and half-hidden so it took two people (one to hold the open unit) and a pair of tiny needlenose pliers to pop it in. Also beware, you need a SMALL Phillips screwdriver to reach the tiny screws -- the 4" one used to get into electronics, not the short ones used to attack big screws with small overhead to work. Still, easily doubled the lifetime of my unit in a harsh environment for $40 or so.

All seems to be good after 3 days of use, with the exception of my barometric pressure. Local airport and two other AW stations are 1.0 higher than mine. I.e. mine show 28.77 and they show 29.77.
