Very unhappy with my Weatherbridge Pro 2 . It did not receive data from the ISS in a timely fashion (10 minutes to 18 minutes at times which is totally unacceptable). Plus they charged me $15 for a warranty return :-(

Set up completed. Directions are complete but make sure you get the latest version of the manual as the one that comes with your station may not be the latest or most complete. Tech help was quick and helpful. I Love my new WS-5000!!!!!

Upgraded to an Ambient Weather Station after my old system stopped working properly. I love it. The lightening detector is a fantastic addition to the system, and we had a pretty severe storm a few days after setting it up and it detected over 4000 strikes in my area overnight. Crazy! I highly recommend an ambient weather station if you are in the market for the first time or looking to upgrade from a different system.

I recently purchased a WS-5000 from AW. It was easy to purchase the device. I liked that during the purchase, I was offered to include accessories for the system. The accessories that I selected were added to the order at a discounted price (less than list). I applied a first time buyer 10% code that was partially deducted from the order. Shipping was free and arrived within three days complete with the accessories I ordered.
I purchased the system on a MA sales tax free weekend, and the 10% code was not fully applied. MA sales tax was applied to the order. I called AW customer support and they promptly refunded the balance of the 10% discount and the MA sales tax.
Very pleased with my shopping experience.

After years of use and being exposed to the Florida environment, my outdoor temperature sensor failed. I viewed this problem as normal wear and tear and felt that I had received great value in the system. What surprised me was the fact that the outdoor temperature sensor could be replaced, that the weather station could be taken apart without breaking, that the plugs came apart without breaking, there was no corrosion (dielectric gel?), and after replacing the sensor the whole system rebooted with no trouble. On top of that, the process of ordering parts was easy and I received them shortly after ordering them. Great equipment and service!

You lose a star because you dropped support on the WS-1001 because it would not connect to
a mesh router that I purchased.
You lose a star for the poor service.
You lose a star because the replacement, 2902, display and weather startion is not as well built
as the older 1001.

Good product but customer service is lacking. I received a unit that didn't work from the beginning. Support was slow but acceptable except that I have to pay return shipping costs for an item that is bad for no fault of my own....

It took a while to figure out the directions. It's working well right now.

Weather station crashed after a year and two months. Two months after warranty expired. Had to pay full price for repair parts and fix it myself.

The weather station gets 5 stars. It is similar to our 2020 model but updated. The mailing packaging gets 4 stars. There was no packing material in the outer box and the smaller boxes bounced around in transit with one item coming out of its box. The product still worked.

So far so good. Great manual, by the way. Easy install and setup. I do wish the screen had a better viewing angle though.
