Called to ask about the compatibility of a second console for my Weather Station setup. Was advised to purchase a certain model, but I had to go to the website to purchase, as the "sales advisor" wouldn't/couldn't place my order.
While placing the order myself, I saw a second console that appeared to work with my Weather Station, but it was too late to call with any questions, so I ordered the second console anyway.
The "sales advisor" acted like he had zero interest in helping me (end of the day?).
Since I had to do the work myself and received no information from the "sales advisor" that wasn't on the website, it seems that Ambient Weather could eliminate these roles and lower the price to the consumer with the savings.
It's really a shame since the products are pretty good.

Ordered your bird protection device to keep my funnel from being plugged up every time it rains ... hoping it works as advertised ...so far, so good!!!!

Love the weather station. Only complaint is the display screen inside the house is hard to read at certain angles.

Very please with the tech support in helping us to make our decision of what we needed in the weather station. Only problem we are having issued with the second console that we ordered for the master bedroom. The main console with the WI-FI is working fine.

I decided to purchase an ambient weather station (WS2902D ) after having pissed away too much money on a piece of **** Accu-Rite unit.
My ambient unit has only been up for about two weeks but, it is an awesome unit as best I can tell.

Shopping was OK but the delivery is the worst. The console has sat in Concord CA for 5 days. Surely you can do better.

The PM meter works great. Just in time to monitor the Canadian wildfire smoke concentration.

I was initially very happy with the updated obseverIP having been a long term user of the old V1. However, direct uploads to Weather Underground NO LONGER WORK after upgrading to firmware (v2.2.3).
Due to this change, you have to use Ambient weather network to send data to Wunderground and rapid fire updates (15 sec updates) will not work (and it relies on the Ambient weather network to function at all).
This loss of functionality is not listed anywhere in the documentation or website, and while it still 'technically' supports weather underground, it is not in the form that I expected or desire. Also, since the functionality was removed through a firmware upgrade I know it was not due to a technical limitation.
Overall, while I can recommend the hardware, I cannot recommend the product due to the artificial limitations being added to try to force people to use the Ambient weather network. It is not the website I have my historical data on, or the website my friends and family want to use.
If Ambient added direct weather underground updates again, my review would be 5 stars.
