WS-500 excellent product experience so fat. Support team was good. Major criticism is that I bought the wrong model, IP vs non IP. The website is not at all clear there are 2 versions. Could be much improved to avoid the issue I had.

Weather station seems great. Reasonably accurate. Only real downside might be the quantity of information on the display makes things small.

My temp sensor module took a long time to arrive from the order date. The pins that I had to plug the module to were very weak. Especially for it's difficult position. They were bent as I was connecting the unit, rendering the new unit unusable.

Honestly, I believe that the device to keep birds off the rain collector should be included with the weather station when it is purchased. The device was easy to put together and it appears to work well. If you don’t have it, you should buy it or you’ll find yourself wondering why your weather station isn’t reading rain when it’s been coming down for a while.

It is a very nice unit. My second ambient weather instrument. My problem is that I found it impossible to get technical support when I had a question. NOT GOOD!

I needed a part for my weather station, but didn't see it on the website. I left a message, got a return call, and was informed that the part I needed WAS available. I checked again, found my part, ordered it at a reasonable price, and received it a few days later. It is so rare to get a helpful return call! Thanks, Ambient!

I ordered the weather station during the Father's Day sale. Then I waited for it to arrive. It sat at UPS labeled for days, but never shipped. I called Ambient, they shipped the weather stations immediately so I would have it in time for Father's Day.
