Was going to be out of town after I ordered my station. Called support, and the gentleman I spoke to put my unit on shipping hold till I returned. Great support.

My new weather station (WS-5000) shipped and arrived promptly with all of the extra sensors that I added. My only difficulty was when it disabled my new station's interior weather sensor and was using the one from my now retired WS-1002 station. I worked through that and everything has been excellent thusfar.

Terrible. I get an email every 30 mins, day after day saying this is your tracking number - very annoying!!! I have sent two emails asking for this to be fixed to no avail. AND the tracking number is blank! I purchased the WS5000 then a NZ/Aus adapter paying double freight. I bought the wrong rain gauge bird protector (my fault), so now reordered correct one. Now have over 100 emails clogging up my computer. Ahhh……

Everything went very smoothly with order and delivery, but setting up the device was not the most straightforward thing. Unbeknownst to me, a neighbor had the same system, so our monitoring panel automatically connected to their system. It was not clear at all that I had to manually change the hex ID to connect our WS2000, indoor, and outdoor sensors to my monitor panel.
I am sure this wouldn't have been an issue had we simply not lived close to someone else with a WS2000.

I chose the Ambient Weather 2000 for its available optional sensors and their customer service. They were the only company that I called that actually answered the phone and gave useful advice and information. Most of the other companies didn't even provide a telephone number to contact them. Ambient Weather spent as much time as I needed to answer my questions and help me with the setup (which was actually very simple). Great product from a great company.
