the Ambient 2902d is a great unit. Imade setup harder than it should be. It pretty much setup itself and the best thing about it is the app. the app gives so much more info then my last weather station. now for the bad news and it's not that bad. the station itself is smaller then my last one and harder read. I don't really need to know much about the sun uv and solar radiation but I live in western washington and don't see much sun anyway, just extra numbers on my station, but I give it a 5star rating for performance.

Received my 2902 WS, but everything inside the box had been opened. Not sure if I received a refirbed unit or a return from someone else. Ambient did not tell me it was an opened package or refirbed. Of course, got charged full price.

I order my equipment in late December. However, I was not able to get a status of the shipment until the second week in Jan. As it turned out no shipments went at out for over a week because they were closed for inventory. I could not find any where that this mas mentioned. Once I received the equipment, the instructions where not very clear and calls into tech support take days to get a response. I continue to have issues with the product and continue wait a call back from support.

I have my WS-5000 setup and working fine for the last week or so. The console setup was hectic & pretty awkward for sure, I even found 1 instruction to be wrong.
I’m very impressed with the WS-5000 so far, much better than my old Davis system and no moving parts to deal with.
One of the main reasons for getting this system was to have remote sensors in my greenhouses.
I managed to name my sensors & they display the names on the console but not on my phone or computer.
Questions:
1. Is there a way to have the correct names show on the phone & computer instead of sensor 1 / 2 /3?
2. I’ve tried to set low alarms on my greenhouse sensors with no luck. I got to the settings, but I’ve never found how to set the low temp to 54 degrees. I would like an alarm on both the console & phone. How do I get this set & is it loud enough to hear?

Ordered on Dec 20th with delivery the 28th. A week after it didn't show up UPS said it was lost and to call Ambient for a replacement.
Called Ambient Jan 3d, no answer so had to leave a message. They called back late on the 4th. I explained that UPS had lost it and was told they would get a replacement sent right out.
Another week goes by, no emails, no tracking numbers, no delivery.
I emailed customer service the 12th to see when the station will get here. After a day they get back to me that they will file a claim and send a replacement. They had taken no action after saying they would send it out a week before. New delivery date is now Jan 19 a full month after my initial order. Very frustrating.
