Unit I purchased to repair my original unit will not work with it due to age even though you advertisement states it will which is tantamount to false advertising

Shopping was easy but unhappy that defective charger was not replaced. Out of warranty period but clearly a problem Never had a charger stop working in 30 years of electronics

I LIKE THE QUALITY OF THE PRODUCT.
I LIKE THAT THE SET UP WAS MUCH EASIER THAN YOUR COMPETITORS
A BIGGER MONITOR WITH ALL INFO DISPLAYED WITH OUT TOGGLING BETWEEN ITEMS WOULD BE A GREAT IMPROVEMENT. ALSO THE ONLINE INTERFACE WITH MY I PHONE IS VERY GOOD!

I purchased a AQIN device so I could monitor the air quality in my home with my WS-5000. Unfortunately it doesn't do the job. It is supposed to measure three parameters - PM2.5, PM10.0 and CO2. I live in an area that is often dusty, and I wanted to know if the particulate levels were in fact unhealthy. The PM2.5 (small) particles usually read 0-1 on my display screen. PM10.0 (larger) reads 0 most of the time! And the CO2 levels are near 800 which is about twice what it should be. The documentation that comes with the unit is very confusing and poorly written. There is a vague mention of a calibration method, but I could not find it on the sensor or within the software menus of the console. There doesn't seem to be a way to contact a live person to get help, so unless I am contacted by someone to help, I'll be returning the unit for a full refund.

My only objection is that I haven’t found a way to connect to the internet to share my data. But I suppose it more my issue than ambient weather. I’m having trouble creating a 2.4Gz network on my 5G router. Like I said it’s my issue, I believe. Otherwise this system is pretty great. More than what I expected. I’m happy with my ambient weather system.

Really love the unit. The only problem is after I get it up and installed and everything‘s working I find out that I cannot connect a Weather Station to my Starlink. Personally, I think Ambient Weather needs to work on a fix for this, cause basically I can’t use this to the full capacity that it should be used.

Ambient weather equipment is of very high quality and second to none, tin my experience - it does use dip switches for configuration, which is getting antiquated - when the central panel started spontaneously rebooting, I ordered a new one expecting a major configuration job to use the new panel - turns out the power supply went bad - with new power supply in the old panel, everything rebooted fine as if nothing had happened - no reconfiguration needed because the old panel is now working fine - I now have a backup panel and I have taken pictures of all setup screens to make setting up a replacement panel easier. - I am still waiting on ambient weather to approve my new webcam for the public (up since October 2025)
