WS-2000 arrived fast and well packaged from USA to NZ. So far we like it a lot. There are a few fine-tuning bits to do, hopefully we can get some help from customer support, cannot find it in the manual.

I had a fantastic experience order from Ambient Weather. The website was very well laid out and the content was well written and extremely informative. Products were accurately described and differences were clear. Shipping was quick and the product delivered was very high quality and exactly what I expected and hoped for. Ambient Weather seems to be one of those few enterprises that provides a great product and fully backs it up with great information, support and passion for doing things right. I know that all sounds like hype but with the terrible experiences that we all see with most retail interactions now I wanted to lend some support.

I was constructing the weather station tripod when one of the bolts sheared off. I contacted the support line and they sent a replacement bolt right away (no charge) and I was able to finish the assembly. Great thanks to the support department.

I ordered a bird spike set for the WS-5000 Rain gauge for the weather station. It arrived very quickly. The directions could be better. But the installation is not that difficult. I ended up with extra parts. That's better than missing parts. It will keep birds from landing on it. That's the point.

The 2902 C console is expensive especially considering I had a workable 2902B console already. However, the two main functions I watch are the wind and the outside temperature and the new console displays them much better than the old console . Hook up and activation was exactly the same with both consoles and now I actually have 2 consoles that show
my weather locations which is great! Overall I am very happy with the new console . And shipping was fast as well.

New console does allow me to report PWS data to Weather Underground. It connected easily and without a hassle, so thankful. I had my concerns but all is well. Thanks!
