We just got our Ambient Weather Station up and running today. Everything seems to be working great. We wished the instructions were a little more explanatory.

Weather station packaging was excellent. The unit works as advertised. It is important to read the instructions on setting up and operating the display. Without knowing I deleted daily rain data. Then I read the manual more thoroughly. Setting up wifi using AWNET was not as easy as described. With my Linksys router I had to separate the 5.0 and 2.4 ghz to get AWNET to process information Same was true with updating Firmware. Everything is working to my satisfaction.

I couldn't believe how fast Ambient Weather: 1) Filled my upgrade order (2 days w/o special handling) 2) Processed my credit for my upgrade

My WS-5000 rain gauge's battery suddenly started to drain within a few days of use. I replaced dead battery with a fresh alkaline three times and got same results. This occurred whether I immediately placed new battery in unit or waited 10 minutes or delayed several hours.
When I ordered a new WS-5000 style rain gauge, the WS-2902 gauge arrived. I'm disappointed that my call to Customer Support didn't quickly resolve error. Phone rep said I needed to email another person for resolution. So I emailed with support docs and received a new, correct unit about a week later. After I inserted fresh alkaline battery into rain gauge and reset base unit, devices connected and after first three days, system works fine so far.

The WS-2902C weather station is working well. The data is accurate and I use it to supply data to my automated irrigation system. The purchase with Ambient Weather was seamless and delivery was very good.

Great product, easy set up, and even the “where to set up the weather station” email that arrived before the weather station was fantastic. Exceeded my high expectations.
