It really helps to know what you need. Ambient Weather make it simple to get the best individual weather station you can set up. My weather station supports our small neighborhood and is excellent in helping us forecast and prepare for Central Texas weather.

I have been using Acurite weather stations and have found problems that were consistent over several units. The other stations in the area are mostly Ambient with 1 Davis. I researched the common ones and decided on the 2902C. Ordering was easy, shipping was fast. I bought this station to donate to our local fire department to replace an Acurite and I will probably replace my own later this year.

Purchasing was great. I found setting it up, adding sensors etc to be a challenge. Thank goodness for your email support

I purchased a 2902C model. They got it to me quickly. The instructions to set it up are some of the best for anything I’ve purchased.

I purchased the Ambient WS 1900A, an older model Osprey because I did not want to fuss with WiFi and connect to Ambient WS Network. I had to search hard to find the info on your store site dominated by the WS 2902 and 5000. I’m happy with that the 1900 comes with new console display similar to the 2902 without the internet. So far, I’m fairly satisfy with its performs. The setup was straight forward. My previous WS was the AcuRite Notos that broke after 3 years. I hope and expect the Ambient will be more reliable.

It is nice but terrible to set up. It took me 2 days to get installed and I am not computer challenged.
