I love how I can purchase any individual part for my weather station and install it myself.

Having all sorts of problems with the rain gauge. The first one blew away. We just replaced it, it worked well for the first storm but now its not reading the rain again. I will be heading back on the roof again to figure out the issue.

I bought this weather station as a birthday gift for my husband, so still waiting to give it to him. My rating is based only on my experience with Ambient weather so far, before having had a chance to use this particular weather station model. Delivery was amazingly quick. And the parts were well packaged and appear to be intact. If it's possible to write a follow up review once we have a chance to set up and use the station, I'll do that.

Order was great. Price was fair - shipping was fast and part was an exact match. (Rain gauge, temp and dew point sensor). My only disappointment was that I’ve only had this two years and had to replace this part. It does sit out in the Florida sun all the time so, I get it, but just a heads up to anyone wondering about the endurance of their units.

This is my first weather station and a much needed tool for our farm. It provides so much data that enables us to monitor weather and it’s impact on our crops. It is fairly easy to set up and I love the ability to access it via my smart phone.

Shoppipng for my replacement weather station was fairly easy, and it was shipped when it said it would be. We didn't recceive the free, additional sensor that was supposed to be included but I contacted customer service and it is supposed to be sent. We like our Osprey 2902 weather station a lot but neither of us is a fan of the display layout on the new 2902C. We wish it had stayed the same as the original 2902.

Good quality and easy to set up except for relative humidity. The secret to this seems to be switch it to inches, set it, then set it back to mm of mercury.

The wind cups blew away in a gust of wind. The screw was tight but, of course , the customer service rep said it probably wasn't tight enough. The shaft that the screw engages doesn't have a groove or flat spot to fit into so you have to rely on friction on smooth surfaces to hold the cups on. The cups are not covered by warranty because the rep said lifting of the cups from the shaft was "an act of God". Bottom line: be prepared to pay $15 for a replacement set of cups to cover a design flaw. It's not the first time the climate of the Oregon coast has tested the limitations of products that might be suitable in environments elsewhere.

When the replacement screen I ordered became lost in the mail, they sent a second one without hesitation. Even sent postage to return one if both made it to me. Good people.

After my original weather station stopped working correctly, it was great to know that Ambient offers a way to get certain parts instead of having 5o buy everything again. Very satisfied!
