I purchased the WS-5000 weather station, and I'm very happy with it. Buying experience was very simple. There was plenty of information about Personal Weather Stations on the site.

Ambient support is quick and actionable. Hardware is very reliable and lasts for years.

I do give it a 5 star but should be a 4.5 if I could. The unit does not include batteries and should. If you order the lightening sensor at the same time it ships with batteries. Shipping was fast and received early.
Easy set up but some settings and adjustment are not intuitive even with the instructions!

Your manual does not fully detail how to set West (-) longitude. Explaining that I needed to push East, didn’t make any sense and may mean I’m still not properly ‘located’!

WS-2000 is up & running. Nice display, which took little time to program. So far, performing nicely.

Im a long time Davis fan but, I just bought the WS-5000 and I have to say it leaves Davis in the dust. The console is easy to read unlike the Davis models. The amount of information on the console is perfect for my weather watching and forecasting. I would and have recommended this product to anyone interested in weather observations. RC.

For some reason my 2nd unit will not update online. Otherwise everything is fine.

The weather station arrived quickly and in perfect condition. The assembly is straight forward. The only problem I had was the wind direction arrow was out of calibration by 180 degrees and it took me quite a long time to get the calibration correct.
In the long term I think I’m going to be very satisfied.
