Received a WS-2000 as a gift and love it. The receiver technology is good...not great...but does the job nicely. I added a straight pole kit to mount the station on a fence. Easy to install and for the length (17') it was fairly light and easy to manage and get plumbed straight.

The on line purchase was easy, at a fair price & arrived on time. The equipment is excellent & works well but the customer support, website and app have been less than stellar. I got the equipment up & running without any trouble but have a lot if trouble with both the app and using the website. Their customer service phone line was also less than stellar as I’ve not been able to speak to a live person about my issues. I called 4 times only to get disconnected by them after waiting on the call for a few minutes on each call attempt. Needless to say it’s been frustrating on my end. In my view, customer support is as important as the product that is sold and they’ve got some work to do to get 5 stars from me.

Purchased a new array for my WS-2000. The array arrives but the pin connection for the wind click is a 3-pin and my ws-2000 has a 2-pin connection. It clearly says on website and my invoice this is for the WS-2000. After calling customer support about the problem, I am told that I must purchase the complete array for well over $100. At this price it would make more sense to purchase a completely new unit. I am stuck with a worthless unit because the outside temperature readings were in accurate. I was hoping, they would have just sent me the 3-pin wind click or sold me a new 3-pin wind click at the minimum. No such luck and the guy on the phone was unapologetic and just wanted to get me off the phone and go back to his morning coffee break. Time to find a different manufacturer to purchase a weather station.

My Ambient weather station has been an endless source of entertainment and information. When there is a big gust of wind, when it looks like it will rain, we look to the WX station to confirm our suspicions and to predict the weather. We check the weather at our remote property through Ambients mobile app. The remote monitoring capability gives us great peace of mind.

I had to contact Ambient Weather a number of times. Tech support was professional and very helpful.. They helped me fix the weather station. I am very pleased and I really like the weather station. The only problem I have is I can't upload data to wunderground.com, that's not a deal breaker.

Liking it so far. No issues installing and syncing sensors to display or connecting to wifi. Rain gauge seems to read about 10% lower than my CoCoraahs gauge. Calibrated the display to compensate and now matches with the CoCoraahs which I feel is pretty accurate.
