I got a great price on a weather station. I had a billing question, sent an email. Within an hour, I had a response from Customer Service with the answer to my question. Now that's service!

I should have read the specs closer. My current Ambient station has solar cells to charge it's batteries. The new one uses lithium AA cells. Us old folks have to hire someone to take the station down to change batteries. Have no idea how long these will last. Rechargeables have been lasting several years. Live and learn.

Product is OK. They could make improvements to the way the heating cord is funneled through the pipe connecting to the station, which happens to be the same one you need to put a screw through. Just not very well thought out. Setup of weather station was pretty easy. The console however had a very old firmware. Why? I ordered directly from company and it was at least two releases behind...that's just lazy on their part. Website has all sorts of issues. Signed up for an account and it sends you an email to confirm your registration/email. I received the email and it says to click on the confirm button to confirm your email address and registration...doesn't work. Tried to copy and paste the URL...doesn't work. Tried to resend confirmation again...doesn't work. Not really impressed so far. For whatever reason I can log into my devices site. However, even though Lat. and Long. and address are correct it has my location in another city and state across the United States....I have no idea??

The initial checkout experience was easy. The shipping time was as expected. When the product arrived, the wrong weather station was shipped. Working with refunds department was easy. Refunds department offered to send the correct product to correct the issue. This was good.
I asked to upgrade to the newer version and pay the difference. I was told that I would need to return everything and then reorder the product. I've returned the product but am unable to order the new product online. When signed in as an existing user, I add my new ws-5000 items to the cart and attempt to checkout. A php error page is returned and I'm unable to checkout in my account. I'm sure that I'll just checkout with a new account or guest account and this will work.
I'm looking forward to the product as it will help collect data for some prototyping projects and works with home assistant/openhab. The returns department was helpful and I like the package deal. Overall, the process to get the product is taking too long.

Sure wish you mobile app worked. It gets disconnected after a short while and not worth the rigamarole to redo.

shopping site was lucid and easy to navigate. Purchase went smoothly. Delivery was fast. The weather station will not be opened until Christmas, so I do not yet have any impressions about installation and operation.

This console is very nice. It has a very bright display and is colorful. I took a star off because I ordered and the next day there was a 10% discount but it was not applied to my purchase.
