I bought and installed an Ambient WS-5300 weather station about 8 years ago. It has performed flawlessly. So I decided it was time to upgrade, so I purchased the Ambient WS-1900A Osprey to replace the WS-5300. I have only had it about a week but so far so good. I did have a question about the new WS-1900A so I called Ambient and they were very helpful and answered my question. I am very please with Ambient's products.

The outdoor temperature reading is about 5 degrees too high when the sun comes up. Later in the day the day the temperature goes where it should be.

My purchase is very in accurate for rain. I called your company and could not understand the person I talked to due to his headset being intermittent and staticy. I had to send a letter. Am waiting for a response.

The station is a great product. My only complaint is that the web page for the roof mounting tripod referred me to a packet for 2 asphalt pads that go under the bracket (the tripod needs 3). However, there is another available packet with 3 pads and mounting lag screws but it’s difficult to find on the web site and not linked to the tripod page. However, the customer service was great and I received what I needed right away.

This purchase was my fourth weather station I have bought from Ambient . I gave it a 4 because they are out of the PM25 and PM25IM accessories and when I asked for a discount when they get them in stock, I was told no way and would have to pay the after order price, I hope they reconcide.

Very good. Unfortunately shipping cost is almost the cost of rebate. New console works well so we are good
