Overall, my experience with your online store was good. The only problem I had was being led to believe the given tracking # was for UPS while it was shipped FedEx...not cool.
So far, I'm very impressed with my new ws-2000, especially its accuracy!

No response from customer support about how to set the dip switches.

Awesome weather station, easy setup . Love all the features , and the option to add additional sensors. This WS-2000 was a replacement/upgrade from the WS-7079.

My weather station was a good 8 to 10 years old and quit sending some information to the consul. But the consul was still working great. Bought a new station. It hooked up easily to the consul and both are working great!

I replaced a broken WS-5000 outdoor array with a WS-2902 (the solar panel on the WS-5000 leaked and no longer worked). The wind cup is VERY difficult to press on its shaft, hole in plastic molding is extremely tight. I checked the set screw flat was lined up properly. I enlarged the hole and got it to push on with some force. The sensor immediately connected to my original WS-5000 display and started transmitting data.

I purchased a WH31E unit from Ambient Weather and received it ahead of the promised three day window. Within 20 minutes (thanks to the information obtained through the Ambient Weather Support documents), I had the unit linked to the display console and AWN. I would suggest a little patience as the systems integrate with this device. It may take the unit a couple minutes to fully display the actions you take to connect the device and make sure you have excellent signal strength and data quality.

I received a defective item.. I returned it and they was charged over 25 dollars for shipping.. This was the second item I bought from them.. the first one died after 2 years.. I will not be a return customer. you sell junk

Overall I am not thrilled with Ambient's customer service (CS) or miss marketing of their product.

1) The wind cups (WC) set-screw would not extend enough to secure the WC to the axle because the set screw hole was not straight which caused the head of the set-screw to be screwed properly. I took a drill bit to the WC set-screw hole but took too much of the plastic away and unusable. I contacted the Ambient's customer service and they nicely told me I would have to buy new WC. Again, the hole was not drilled deep enough and straight. I am out $17.50 now and wrote about this on Amazon's reviews and here. All this for a $5- cost on their part.
2) When I purchased my Ambient 2902D I ordered an external Temp/Humidity sensor. After spending several hours trying to get the sensor & console to pair up, I called Ambient's customer service. They informed me that I had to link up my weather station to my WIFI to get the sensor to work. I pointed out the the CS agent that none of their literature explained that. I asked how to return the sensor as I wanted nobody to have access to my WIFI and he told me to request a return and get a RA number and I could return it. I asked why this information was not spelled out in Ambient 2902 literature, and he didn't know nor really care.

Last, since I do not have the WC, I can't say if the whole unit works. Currently, minus the wind speed function, it works. However, I have buyers remorse thinking that if I have issues in the future, CS will be worthless.

Quality Equipment, works good. However, I Wish it was made in the USA.
Website login’s a bit of a challenge. AWN works good, AW.com not so good.
Have not had to call CSR so I have no review there in regards.

The funnel did not come with the coil filter that the original funnel came with. I called support, but had to leave a message. I never got a call back.

The website is VERY MISLEADING!!!!
It describes how to connect new sensors (wind & rain) to replace the original sensors which stopped working. The instructions were incomplete and difficult to follow. The videos were worse skipping basic steps and giving instructions that did not work for my system - there was no button for ‘more setup.’ It took HOURS of RESEARCH before I finally found a privately created YouTube video that instructed users to update the FIRMWARE BEFORE attempting to connect new replacement sensors! How hard would that have been for Ambient to include that crucial information? Your engineers are so smart in creating this equipment but they are IDIOTS when it comes to explaining how to use it. Everything was poorly done and missing critical steps, even when it comes to basic information and steps. They assume users know everything they do, but most people do NOT KNOW. It was a frustrating and at times infuriating process to finally get everything working again.
