Bought two sensors for my station at Ambient Weathers international store and in local currency. When I received the sensors I failed to connect them and thru support found out that the international version of the station is not compatible with the sold sensors. Doesn't say anywhere on the homepage (double checked). The "support" ended the issue with no explanation, no return, no nothing. Just good bye. In conclusion an awesome weather station, but international customers: stay away!

I am very disappointed with Ambient. I own two of the old weather stations. Ambient no longer supports either of them. Customer service is nonexistent.

The Weather Station is hard to see. You have to look from above it to see it clearly. The WS-2909 works great, easy to install and connect to the internet. Just needs a lot better Station to view the information..

My experience here was terrible. Why would the power converter go bad? I've never had that happen. Nonsense!

I really love this app and the network of other stations around my area. I like it so much that I purchased the paid subscription for a year in hopes I'd be able to get much more detailed information and historical information from the network of weather stations for my area. So far, it has been a mess trying to activate the subscription because it was purchased as a gift card. I have several email threads with customer support asking for help with this. I am now at the point of just requesting a refund since the "gift card" hasn't been activated.
It's probably me since I'm not the most technologically advanced person. Either way, this app and network of stations is AMAZING! The subscription...not so much.

I was a little sad that my original station was “sunsetted”, but everything else had been fine.

I tried to buy the 2902 at the $169 sale price. Tried for days to get the 10% new person code and it would not work. Eventually tried Chrome (vs Safari) and got the code, but the sale price was off! Anyway, Apple Pay used my old address so I called, the guy corrected it quickly and the unit was here in a couple days.

Not sure what im supposed to say. I don't see much change from the recent enhanced features but that's on me for being duped. There are some shortcomings that make it to where you cannot use this app exclusively for weather forecasts. I'd love it if you could. Maybe it'll get there one day.

This unit works great. Assembly and startup was relatively simple. This is my 2nd AW station. I highly recommend this company.

I would like to speak to someone. I purchased a WS-2902D in April of 2024. I have had continued issues with the screen. I called in and was told that the power supply was bad. That didn't help. Then the Wi-Fi board in it died. I just purchased a WS-2000 from Amazon. Why would I recommend Ambient when the unit only lasts 18 months?/ I am a senior citizen and cant afford to keep replacing these units. please feel free to call me. Thank you John Knobloch

new WS-2000, set up was easy, finding a good location was my personal challenge, will it get enough sun, how high should I place it, how easy will it be to do routine maintenance, and will it be close enough for proper communication. All said and done works great.
