I ordered a replacement for the sensor array and it arrived very quickly.

I looked at a lot of competing products, and discovered in the fine print that all but Ambient's, even if they claim solar support, turn out to have very short battery life for the outdoor sensor module, measured in months. Since the sensor is roof mounted in my case that was unappealing. Ambient's, happily, reportedly last for a year or more, due to a more sophisticated solar support design involving large storage capacitors; maybe years! That's a big selling point.

It was easy to set up, and support answered my 2 setup questions promptly and courteously.

One of my questions involved trying to find the reset button on the sensor, which was not covered in the instructional video or in the set up instructions, but if I had looked more carefully the location of this otherwise hard to spot tiny recessed switch, with similarly tiny black on black markings, was depicted on the numbered parts diagram.

Mounting was easy, assembly was easy, and the wall display and system overall work great. I'm not interested in the ability to monitor this on my phone or computer; the wall display is enough for me. So I didn't mind the fact that the instructions for how to get going with the iPhone app or computer monitoring set up seemed somewhat complicated and technical since I I did not need that functionality.

Purchased a WS 2000. First, I called customer support to get a few questions answered. Then I purchased on the Ambient web site. I live close to the Ambient headquarters in Arizona, so I got my weather station the next day. Easy to set up.

Customer support was correct in their diagnosis of the problem I was experiencing. I am only giving 4 stars, not 5, because the A/C Adaptor I purchase from your site was on the expensive side.

The remote sensor I was told would fix my problem indeed did, but only after I went on a forum and found out how to disable the failed one and register the new one.
The people who helped me on the phone could have given me those instructions very easily, but did not choose to.

The replacement of my windspeed sensor unit went well the included instructions were very easy to follow. Thank you for helping me out.

Product support has been "outstanding"! Matt Murphy kept helping me diagnose a problem with the outside air temperature sensor until we finally isolated the problem as the sensor itself. He sent me a link to the web page to order a new one and we fixed it. It would have been helpful to have replacement instructions. We found a similar explanation in a user manual from a similar item but not in our WS-2902C manual.

Shopping on-line was seamless and easily accomplished.Delivery was speedy, just a few days. Weather station was easy to mount. However, I had difficulty making it operative and linking it to Ambient on-line. Users have to be computer savvy which I am not.

I needed to purchase a replacement wind vane and I was unsure of which part to order. I used the contract form to ask a question and attach a pix of the broken part. The response came back immediately. The part was ordered and now replaced.

Excellent and knowledgeable service & advice. Our weather station is over 5 years old and rather than pitch an entire new system to me, he said try a new adapter. Honesty is hard to find today but this company has it!

I have an older unit which needed a replacement temperature sensor. I ordered the unit for my weather station. It didn't work. Tech support said I must "buy a whole new system". My unit was "too old" and no longer supported. Ambient weather can "shove" their products.

Customer support is a 1 out of 100. Not a lot of competition in this market, so kind of stuck with them.
