I have owned the w2-2000 for less than 2 years, however, the temperature reading has been continuously intermittent on the display since purchase. After reading the forums I’ve reset the unit & still have it operate sporadically. This started occurring within a month of purchase. Due to its location on a lake I had limited access to the unit due to lake height. I’ve recently replaced the temperature/humidity unit with a newly purchased one and it is still not working. I should have reported this while under warranty, but, unfortunately did not. While advertised having robust functionality the overall quality of the design appears to be poor. I shouldn’t have to pay this many $$ to have the unit this unreliable & not totally failing to transmit temperature in less than 2 years.

Very happy with product. But was going to return part I did not need, and found it almost cost the same $ just to ship it back. I could send it back USPS my self for a lot less.

The order arrived quickly but I think $18 for a piece of plastic (wind vane that broke in half..why would that happen?? ) is a bit much.

I found what I needed but it did take several searches. Need to improve key word search.

Very fast and prices were comparable or better buying through the comp than a third party. Was able to get my medical provider discount.

Great products that work really well and provide amazing insight into your local weather. My previous system lasted 10 years in winters that reached -30 F. I had to replace the main control panel last month due to a lightning strike which was my fault as I didn't have it plugged into my surge protector at the time. Excellent online experience as well, but can be a bit finicky to get setup. Even so, it's a fantastic amount of information at your fingertips. Well worth the time. Being able to contribute to the wider web of weather stations is fantastic as well. There is a huge community of fellow weather contributors worldwide.

I only purchased an AC adapter. I called tech support reporting that my dad's weather station would not boot, with an error message. The man I spoke with was very helpful and kind. He told me it was most likely the AC adapter. Keeping my fingers crossed that's what it is. Haven't been able to try it yet.

Service person knew what was wrong right away and ordered the part I needed, it’s the shipping that was slow.
