My shopping experience on this purchase was less than satisfactory. This was the third weather station I purchased from Ambient and the first two times were great. This time I did not receive notification that the package was shipped. I happened to look at my order to see it marked complete but I did not have the unit. They had a tracking number attributed to UPS but UPS had no record of it. I plugged the number into FEDEX and low and behold so a picture of the unit delivered to somebody else's address. I eventually got it but appears Ambient doesn't follow their own words saying they will notify you when shipped nor do they know who they are shipping it with. Ambient did call me and apologize for the SNAFU.
As far as WS-2902 goes, it is a good unit. There could be better directions on how to connect the unit to the internet/wifi. The console has directions attached to it and then the manual has directions. It is a bit unclear on which one goes first or takes precedence.

I needed to purchase a new power supply for the ws5000 heater and found that the only way to accomplish this was to put the entire ws5000 with the optional cord in the shopping cart and then at checkout delete all except the power supply

The piece delivered doesn’t work with my array. Support says the only option is to buy another larger more expensive piece.

I still haven't been able to connect my new weather station to the Star Link WiFi. Everything I've tried doesn't work. Manual ISS not good and talking to tech support is hit or miss.
