I am very happy with the WS-4000! My WS -2902 was getting long in the tooth and even with regular maintenance it struggling with rain measurements. I chose this unit for ease of maintenance. The first day it was installed and operational, it rained and the display was very accurate. Great unit!$

Display would go off and then system would restart with few good periods in between. Called tech. support and was answered right away and they said power supply was probable problem. Ordered new part and machine works like new.
The service was great! When called wasn't placed on hold or have to listen to music. I have a great machine and now find service is also great. Thank you!

Buyer beware. This company does not have a good return policy.
I requested that my order of a temperature sensor be cancelled before it shipped. Customer service did not cancel it. I requested an RMA but am expected to pay over 17.00 to send it back. This item is small and weighs less than a pound. I'm very dissatisfied.

Changed my wifi and realized my Ambient 2902 no longer connected to the app. Customer support guided me thru the process of replacing my console thru the Ambient Tool Program.

The replacement for my 9 year old Model Ws-1001 is up and running and looks awesome! I would relate my experience in assembling the AW WS-2000 as I had some issues. The wind vane had to be drilled out in order to fit over the shaft. And it took numerous frustrating attempts to get the lid to fit on the rain gauge funnel.

Turned out great, though I wish there was a way to cancel my order via the website. I ordered the wrong one first and had to call and cancel and calling took a long time. Got my stuff and installed it and my weather station is back up and running.

I am always worried about purchasing accessories and making sure they work together. Ambient's website provides plenty of information that assured me my console would be compatible with the indoor and outdoor air sensors.
