when I bought in-store at Blackpool brilliant but when ordering online and paying for next day delivery I here nothing for over 2 weeks and when I called was told I would get a call back that morning but I never I had to call myself 7 days later just to be told maybe next week. it's not good enough doesn't matter what you say in small print you can't say next day delivery and charge £9 for it and then not deliver next day. Amazon just got a multi million pound fine for same thing

I understand you have already been in discussions with a colleague regarding this and I can only apologise for the poor communication you feel you have received. We can confirm your product was for a pre order, currently for products either ordered in or not yet released our basket shows a lead time and so do the checkout pages next to the relevant products. We will be changing our "add to basket" button to a "Pre-order" button in order to better communicate the pre order status and changing some wording on the checkout pages. I expected the coins I purchased to be in coin capsules. CHARDS, you let yourselves down for such a prestigious company to supply my order just wrapped in bubblewrap without supplying them in permanent coin protection containers. Sloppy quality, Shame on You!

Good morning John, firstly thank you for your feedback. We do not include capsules as standard with every coin as this slightly increases prices for every customer whether they want a capsule or not. When buying bullion coins this can increase the price too much in some instances. We do however sell capsules and often link this on the product pages. On this occasion we can see there is room for improvement on the product page as no link has been provided. We will endeavour to keep product pages more complete with this type of information to prevent recurrence. We hope this is a satisfactory outcome. Regards, Ian

For bullion coins scratches are common but as this was a new coin we can understand why the standard expected fell short. Ordered (from their website) two sovereigns and two half sovereigns for gifts to family.
Came within a few days by registered Royal mail delivery. Providing tracking information along the way.
If I had one small quibble, I had asked if at least one sovereign could be 2018 (because a gift to someone young). Neither were 2018 but the quality was as offered and the website did say they would be within the last 5 years.
Anyway, gold is gold.
So am very happy.

We do sell the 2018 sovereign on the website so in the event this was not obvious we can better link our products.
