Everything was fine with the timeline for shipping and the ammo arrived in good condition. Although, having to be home to sign for the package was a pain in the butt. Time and effort trying to get the package delivered when I would be home was not fun. I order most of my ammo online and your company is the only one that I have ordered from that has required a signature.
In response to your explanation. UPS would not deliver to a store because of the signature requirement.

I am very happy with my purchase. John was helpful and changed an order for an item that might have taken longer, and he took the time to change to a similar Aimpoint product, and I am thrilled with the Aimpoint and very impressed with the customer service. It took a few days for the Charlies team to notice that my order was going to be backordered, but they were great in fixing it. To be fair, I am not used to the level of personal attention when something goes not quite right. I know other people just bitch when something is not perfect, but f**k, life is not perfect. What counts is when a company steps forward and fixes things and treats you like a person and not just an order. Thanks, John

I tend not to leave negative reviews. But if a company this crappy is going to keep pestering me to review my experience, many months after I did business with them, then fine, I'm happy to leave a review.

Charlie's Custom Clones is a cancer of a company. They are unethical and untruthful. First off, they attempt to manipulate google search results by listing items they've never actually had in inventory (and in many cases discontinued for many years) in the hopes of catching customers searching for such things on Google. Secondly, they'll list things as "in-stock" to raise their results in Google's algorithm when they don't in-fact have things in stock.

Their lead time numbers are a complete falsehood based on their estimate of when they think they might get something, not based on any reality. And again, they show lead times for things that are discontinued from the manufacturer.

Then there's their prices. They watch the market for clone parts and specifically will buy things from other stores that they think are going to be out of stock soon or discontinued, double or triple the price and then list them on their own store. This absurd behavior and in many cases in violation of manufacturer's retail agreements.

I would not recommend doing business with this company. I would stay as far away as I could. They are liars. They have no ethical standard of running their business. They take advantage of people. They manipulate data and search algorithms at the cost of their customers. They're sleazy, awful and bad. 1 star is not a low enough rating for what they actually deserve.
