Charlie's gets 5-stars. Ted contacted me and told me that the item I purchased was oversold, which is understandable. Ted then walked me through my options and helped me pick a replacement, and then made sure it was shipped right away. I mean, this is like white glove service. I cannot get most online shops to answer a call or an email, and then I find out weeks later that an item is back-ordered. CCC was super proactive. It is the difference between my local hardware store with three old guys helping me, and Costco. Don't get me wrong, I will shop at costco for the 95 gallons of motor oil at $2.00 per quart, but when I need help, I know where to go, and CCC is on speed dial from now on

When checking out, I included one too many L's in the street name. upon notification, instead of being able to make a simple correction, I had to either cancel and start all over or send in copies of DL, Card etc and jump through a couple of hoops. This could be improved upon

We understand the frustration. Our credit card processor screens transactions, and unfortunately, if an address does not match, their computer does not do a spell check, it just does not match, and kicks-out a reject. We can over ride the reject, but for a first time customer, it means validating your identity, or starting a new order. Looks like you did that latter, and we hope you will enjoy your purchase

I have a Major problem with Customer relations. Shouldn't the Credit card payment have number, name, billing address, expiration date, and CVC? I did all that, the payment is approved by the credit card company yet they will not process my order unless I send an image of my driver license and credit card? This is highly unusual, not necessary (they got the charge approved) and opens me to fraud

Our cc processor screens for fraud. When a new customer has a shipping and billing address mismatch, the transaction is held by our processor for review or cancelled. Your bank may have approved your transaction, but ours did not. Both banks must approve a credit card transaction
