I recently joined CrossFit and have been participating in it at least 4 days a week for the past 6 months. In the 2nd to 3rd month, I started having pretty severe muscular aches and pains in my shoulders and elbows. I've always been active (swimming, weightlifting, etc.) but never required the use of my shoulders in overhead movements such as in CrossFit. I got the CrossOver Symmetry Shoulder system and followed it's recommendations as close as possible. I completely avoided all movements as recommended, performed the CS exercises as prescribed, and slowly have been working my way back to full participation and am to the point I am now surpassing where I was before without any pain. The system will truly teach you how to properly activate the muscles required for a given movement rather than over-compensating with muscles and tendons that were meant for such loads. I will say, if you aren't willing to put in the work and have the patience, you will not have success, but if you are dedicated to improvement you can not go wrong with the Crossover Symmetry Programming.

Had non-immediate (no red flag), but worsening pain from Crossover Symmetry. By week 2 I was unable todo daily functions. Stopped. Went to see a physio who told me to STOP and do just basic, light theraband physio exercises. Could potentially return to CS in future once stabiliser muscles have built up.

As promised, my shoulder has been rehabbed and is pain free four weeks later after starting. Well worth it. Working on getting stronger now. Also need to start the Halo/Core program for January to bullet proof knees, hips, and lower back. Exercises are short and sweet and easy to learn from the videos.

The product is great! I purchased the baseball bundle for my husband who wanted the shoulder bands and the hip halo. However, as someone unfamiliar with the product, I wasn’t aware I needed to buy additional anchors for the shoulder straps. There wasn’t a “suggested item” or “you may also need” section when I purchased them. So it was a little frustrating that I gave essentially an incomplete gift. Other than the ordering portion, the product is great, my husband loves it. The support videos are great and the common faults help his queuing while working through the exercise card. All in all, I would definitely recommend the product, but with the caveat that anchors are not included and without them, the shoulder straps really aren’t usable.

Hi Sarah, thanks for the review. I am sorry there was some confusion. The Baseball package is designed for baseball players to attach the cords to a fence. There is a break in price specifically because baseball players do not want or need wall anchors. Our non-baseball bundle does include attachments for the cords.
