I tore my my rotator cuff about 6 months ago and had it repaired on 6/26, just over three months ago. While I was contemplating my recovery, a friend asks me if I’ve ever heard of Crossover Symmetry. I had not. I researched and learned that the exercises are perfect for BJJ and combatives.
When I first started using CS, my heavy cord was 10 lbs of resistance and my light cord was 3 lbs. Now my heavy cord is 25 lbs and my light cord is 10 lbs. Additionally, I finished my PT eight weeks ahead of schedule, and I’m back to my BJJ training.
I like this system so much that I’m actively working to get my teammates to adopt it as a daily part of their warm-ups, tournament prep, and recovery.
