This is the only e-collar we use on all of our 7 police dogs. no problems or complaints at all.

My blue Heeler puppy is extremely hard headed and needs lots of freedom to roam and wasn't happy being on a leash all the time. This collar has changed both of our lives, my puppy is now extremely well behaved and can roam as much as he wants!

I have a 11lb Aussie that is a very tender dog. I started him on the mini 300 and it was a bit to much for him. After a few weeks I switched over this one and it is perfect for him. The tone and vibration combination is all he needs. It also fit much better for a small dog. The prongs on the ET mini 300 didn't seem comfortable for him. I would recommend this collar for an dog 12lbs and under.

I think it has one more button than I need, but it is overall a nice product. Compact, durable, waterproof. I would prefer it could be more quickly detached from the collar, but I suppose that makes it more secure. Also, it's not so easy to attach to a harness, but none of them are, and I figured out a way to do it with zip ties.

I love this collar!! Works fantastic! Teaches dog quickly. Used on mysrlf, and there is a huge difference between this Educator & cheaper one I found at big box store! Easy to set up & use. Just went tk training seminar & this is the one Jeff Gellman recommends. 100% confident w/ this collar!! Also like the new Zen design! I'd recommend this collar!!

Easy to use and works well!

Was using the k-9 400 on my GSD for about a year and it was working great except when he got highly distracted like when a family member came over and he was so over-the-top excited and trying to jump up on them he didn't even notice the stimulation on the highest setting, even though a very low setting worked great for most other situations. I decided I needed to upgrade his collar to a more suitable one for his higher tolerances. I spoke to someone at Educator Collars and found that the k-9 800 was just what I needed. The stimulation levels were the same until 60 then they were about 30% higher than the 400 series from 60-100. The collar itself is a little larger but isn't too big or bulky for my large dog. He responds well to the higher stimulation when needed, which is what I was looking for and I can still use a low setting for the majority of the time. He also responds very well to the vibration mode, which I'm able to use instead of the stimulation in many situations. The K-9 800 is a perfect match for our needs at all times and the folks at Educator Collars were very helpful in deciding on a new collar and gave options for upgrading my other collar that would have saved me some money from buying a whole new collar, but I wanted to have the option of using the other collar with my smaller dog. Shipping was fast and I would highly recommend purchasing from Educator Collars.

It was shipped fast but the instructions were terrible and no youTube video reference on how to replace the batteries. It was easy but confusing at first. I had a hard time with the "ring" it wouldn't fit so I used the old

If you are looking for a reliable ecollar that delivers consistently and is affordable, and is made in the USA. This works great. Very easy to use, saves me lots of time otherwise spent fidgeting with stuff.

So much easier to put collar on compared to the rubber strap that works like a belt. The fit also deterred our other puppy from chewing his brother's collar off. That was the reason for purchasing a replacement. Plenty of length to fit almost any size dog which can be trimmed and heat sealed to prevent unraveling.

I'm a positive reinforcement dog sports competitor competing at advanced levels of many sports. I was totally against "shocking a dog into compliance" and never considered getting an e-collar. However, I recently adopted a digging, chewing, barking, runaway Jack Russell. Having had a Jack Russell in the past, I knew that even 3 hours a day of positive training did not cure him of running off and killing other animals, and he could never be walked off-leash. With the new dog, I decided to try an e-collar to stop the behavior immediately so that I could keep her safe and also have "good" behavior to reward right off the bat.

I did loads of research into different collars and picked the Educator due to its high ratings and features, including 100 levels, a light, a warning tone that can be turned on/off, and even a locator if you lose the remote. I am super happy with this collar. We keep it on a very low level, like a cell phone vibration. Just annoying enough that the dog finds it easier to comply than continue the unwanted behavior. When she complies, we use food treats as a reward. With this collar, I was safely walking her at a county park off-leash just weeks after adoption, with running bunnies near the trail, and she did NOT run after them. I also taught her not to bolt through gates or try to dig out under the fence. It was also great for teaching her not to charge the fence at my neighbor's big dog. After about 8 weeks of daily use, we now only need it for something like a county park walk and she is well behaved about not barking, digging, etc.

The collar is so easy to use, extremely reliable and consistent, and very easy to put on the charger, which I do every night before heading to bed. The collar never "goes off" on its own and is very responsive. The half-mile range works through several floors of my house/basement. I can be in my home office and give her a "zap" for barking in the yard on the far side of the house and a level down. Because she doesn't relate it with me, she thinks her barking caused it, so has pretty much figured that barking doesn't pay. Anyway, I love this collar and highly recommend it.

Forgot to mention that the light feature is really nice. You can basically turn your dog into a flashlight to see where he is at night, or to light up the area while you search for a lost toy at night, etc. Educator really got it right.

I purchased these collars for JRTS. I missed the description at the bottom of the page stating not recommended for collar size under 13". So I couldn't properly evaluate the collars. I had to return them. I would love to see a version of his collar for smaller dogs.
