Absolutely the best training collars. Very low stimulation is all you need when properly introduced to your dog. The two receivers on the plus models are great and offer more comfort for your pet because you can loosen the collar for all day use and still get good contact. I would recommend to anyone that truly wants to spend the time to properly use them this is not a punishment device it is a training aid.

Bought this for biggie our lil French bulldog. I have had great results from a similar e collar for Leonard our weimrainer !! It help mold him into a great dog that listens to my commands 85 percent of time ( could be 100 percent but still let him have freedom to be a dog!!). Back to Biggie. She just doesn't get it?? The tap sensation just makes her look around and confused ?? Now this isn't the educator fault it's a great product, well made easy to learn to use .. I have nothing but positive things to say about any of there products I have used but biggie is a special case I'm afraid hahah no issues at all and would purchase again. Like i said works perfect for Leonard only time I ever used the more powerful setting on him was to stop him from going into the road.. cars coming been bad.. he remembers. Great tool for training and obedience just using the tapping sensation. I have used the collar on my forearm as well... wouldn't do anything to harm my dogs.. to see what it's like before ever using it on them.. if u have the determination and patience to train a disorderly dog this is a great tool to use to accomplish your goals

Hard to figure out program 2 dogs booklet is confusing

I have never used any type of training collar. I did have a trainer for my dog but felt that I needed more control off leash. This is very user friendly! The fact that is has so many levels makes it kind to me and the dog! I would recommend ordering the collar with the snap to make it easier to put on and take off. My dog is kind of "wimpy" and he does great with this collar. He has caught on great to the tone so I do not need to zap him hardly at all anymore. I have a border collie, German shepherd mix, 70lbs. I have only been using the collar for about 2 weeks. (I did put the collar on him for about 2 weeks before I ever turned it on, just for short periods of time to get him used to it. So technically I have had it for about a month). Also to try and get him used to it so he might not associate the collar with the zap. That seemed to work well, he responds better without the collar on already. I also had issues with him barking at the neighbors and we are working on teaching him the command "out" since I don't want him to stop barking completely. I like that he alerts me when someone or something is there, but the neighbors are allowed to be in their yard, in peace!! I did a lot of research on ecollars and this is the best one I came across. I was afraid at first that the collar would've too small for him. This collar should work fine for just about any dog, large or small breed and long or short hair. Hope this helps!

The Dog understood the collar in about 20 minutes. It was harder teaching myself how and when to use it.

Great collar, great customer service!

The directions were so difficult I did not use for 5 months until the dog trainer helped me several times to learn. It works grand and has worked in salt water which I need since we live on the ocean.

We purchased these for our 12 lb Maltese/shih tzu mix puppies. It is nice having one remote work with both dogs, and I love being able to adjust the strength of the correction from the remote rather than the collar. This has helped with training them to stop barking, jumping, eating outside debris, and more.
Just what we needed, perfect.

I am using these collars on two small dogs and it allows them immense freedom on our 1 acre lot. An added bonus which I have learned to love is that they now wear "flashlights" at night so I can visually watch over them at night.

After a few months, we love the setup we purchased. (K-9 800 Tactical) We haven't really had the opportunity to test range , but weather resistance and normal use are no problem. I love the slight increments and the boost button except when my dog is hard headed and refuses to come no matter what. When she knows she is in trouble, she will lay down and take whatever I give her rather than being scolded! The unit and all components to are great and even overkill for just a pet, but that's what I wanted; I didn't want to have to purchase more down the road.

There are great collars and then there are amazing collars, I love this one! I have both the 300+ and the 302 (for when I bring both dogs).

The main selling point I love about this one is that since you have two receivers you do not need to have the collar very tight. No matter whether they flex their neck, relax their next, move left/right, there is always a connection. The same cannot be said for other collars (though bungee collars definitely help fix that).

I have also noticed that since there is always solid contact, I do not need to turn the stim level up near as high for her to feel it (most times I'm below 10 on a GSD that is not in drive).

The listing on the page and the customer service information needs updated. This comes with everything in the picture (a good thing): bungee collars, case, etc. They were also cool about changing the cover for free so it didn't match my other Educator receiver.

The only real complaint I have is that you cannot buy an upgraded knob from Educator. The current knob on all controllers require that you look at the screen to see what the stim level is set to, if they would make one of the bumps much larger you would be able to feel approx what the level was. I remedied this by purchasing a knob from Ace Hardware and fitting it to my controller, but it isn't a perfect fit. It does make controlling the levels much easier.

Other than that I think the collar is incredible and their customer service is top notch. I would definitely buy this again!

Excellent price

Bought for a pet dog for proofing recalls. Works great. Minus one star because the belt clip on the remote is not good and I lost the remote while hiking.

Pretty great, except the power cord for the remote is a mini USB style not a simple plug and charge, like the collar. Otherwise it has been perfect

Tried a different brand, and the collar was not reliable. Sometimes it would work other times not. My trainer recommended the EZ 900 and it's been great

Biggest bang for your buck and a great product

Great little system especially converting it to 2 dogs I also have the 900 4 dogs collar have not used it in full flight yet but this company is wonderful love dealing with the. Answer question very quickly supportive .
My only thing I had was I found it tricky to pair another collor not sure why I just could not get it right just a little awkward more than difficult and some conflicting instructions to be fair.
I eventually found a utube video that helped me from someone that brought the same collars I think they also put some trap Ning video. On there site doing this exact thing pairing the collars with the remotes on all modles able to take more than one dog.

Really great having a 4 system for all my dogs, really easy to use :)
