Communication was a bit difficult to know when and what to get in for evaluation. I believe the communication between the school, and EDvestinU was good, but I had to find out by inquiring or I got "lucky" because I was wondering where we were in the process. Took longer than I had expected, but once done, all good!
Interest rate is FAR BETTER than Sallie Mae and others and I appreciated the customer service folks. They were friendly and helpful once I was able to speak with them after a few lengthy waits on the phone. All-in-all I am glad we went with EDvestinU.

They were unable to underwrite my retired father as a co-signer simply because he was living off of royalties from a business he sold rather than traditional retirement accounts (which he has, and shared in great detail with underwriters). Ultimately had to re-apply, got a slightly worse rate, and objectively they were stuck with a worse co-signer (lower assets and income).
